thanks for the comments guys the screamer is heat wrapped and i turned the pipe round and it gave itmore room. ill get 'the dentist' to map it. put canards on and sprayed the mirrors black as the leftmirrorwas a terrible spray job. Aaron

i fitted cnards on the glanza,2nd pic down,and sprayed my wing mirrirs black as one was a terrible match in silver. mates car is a jdm b18 engined eg,has cusco coilovers,upper n lower braces and cat back exhaust ect.. comments welcome

i bought his engine,i went and picked it up mind you,and when i had little problems he was more than happy to call and text to see if it was ok. i can honestly say i beleive he is 100% genuine,he should of got back to you but he is a sound guy. good luck guys,im sure theres a explination for this.

UPDATE>>> well since buying the glanza ive bought -forged engine -external td04 kit -100ft heat wrap -few stickers -front bumper canards things ive done since last update, -heatwrap manifold, and decat to backbox -replace clutch release bearing -fit e/w td04 kit,waiting on one bit to arrive before i can drive it. to buy,.. -slam panel -reverse scoop just got a few things to sort,then ill be running .7 bar till i buy a power fc. im goin to knock hill next month for the cars first go on track. here is some pics i took tonight, comments welcome as always

cheers rory,ill change them over. ill def be doing knockhill once ive got the glanza mapped. you can take me round in your gt now youve spent even more on it since i was last out in it. you were at 'the dentist's' garage when i last seen it,nearly 2 years ago.

jesus,thats nuts,...is it a 16g td05? ive sold my hybrid set u so on the market for another turbo kit thanks -
flor bars would be even steeper ,prob best place is on a rollcage cross bar.

what boost are you runnin on the td05? estimated power? -
UPDATE: forged engine is in, rear stripped ,sound proofing from boot removed few pics,... out with the old (bearing went) in with the new how she sits now im going to change the turbo set up,somthing abit bigger,vf23 or td04/5 not 100% yet. need to change my clutch release bearing so now is the best time to swap i guess. thanks for looking

yeh,that was one of my thoughts. ive had td04 on my gt advance,liked it alot. but ive never had cams before and think bigger turbo will be more fun. thinking ill get the vf23 just now but open to opinions .. -
right, i got my glanza going with my new engine and goes well but befor i commit by buying management and mapping it id like to know peoples opinion of the 'better' turbo to suit. i just want a fast road car,that will be used quite often on track also (knockhill) engine spec is; Wisco Low Compression Pistons 74.5mm Scat H-Beam Forged Conrods ACL Bottom End Race Bearing Kit ...Block Professionally Rebored and Honed ZEP 1.2mm Head Gasket Ported and Polished Head Heavy Duty Valve Springs 265deg Billet Cams with 8mm Lift turbo set up; zisco ram horn manifold tong turbo's hybrid blitz cast decat

lol,i picked the engine up last saturday and had it in the sunday night :-) release bearing has gone on the clutch tho. lovin the cams!

Update: Engine is in and running 12psi,had to swap knock sensors as the one I got on the other engine was gooses. Plan is to get it mapped at 1.2bar and I'm sure she will be nippy. Cams are great,really loving the car. Will update with pics and a video once weather let's me.

UPDATE:..................... well ive been busy. had the car home since sunday night (12/09/10) since then ive: -taken stickers off ,funkypower, d/s glanza, toms ..refer to first pics -sound deadening from wheel well (used a hair dryer to sorten it,..love auto glym tar remover!!) -cleaned inside engine bay,replacing rusty bolts with clean ones -took off,mani,decat,turbo, power steering,all air-con, rad, drained oil -heatwrapped last 3rd of the exhaust. to do,.. -heatwrap the mani, rest of the exhaust (decat is done) -aluminium civic size radiator -magnicore leads -remove interior and tak

Thanks for the nice comments,I'll have an update on Saturday as ive don't some cleaning and stripping in the engine bay. Aiko it is,lol. I'll keep that name for her. Cheers mate,its good to be back :-D

i discovered it is a renault f4r or something engine,which is very similar to the vvti engine, cant say exact same but it damn close. was told it was toyota engine by previous owner and was never corrected till a guy on the starlet gt forum mentioned he worked for renault and said its very similar but a renault 'version' (basically) best of luck with all the baby prep,yeh mate can meet up when im all sorted with the 'V' and take you a run :-)
