CT9, not TD04?
-
Just needs shot blasting and a coat of paint!
P.S. I can blast it for you if need be

I always use silicon grease when fitting new seals.

A fair few early 90s turbo hatchbacks out there. All got something going for them. That's why I find it strange so many people come back when theres so many other cars to try. Just my opinion
Prices for other 90's hatches are going through the roof. 205's R5 GT's all going mad now

Who made the CT9 kit?
-
Just needs a set of Speedlines to set it off! Looks well

There's a few nice cars up on Facebook selling pages at moment.

Bump! Still looking, tyres not needed. All centre caps would be good!!
-
That bad? Lol
Yes, that bad lol.

Thanks mart, I'd love to import one but I just can't stretch to that amount lol. If the right one came up I'd spend the money. Anyone had any experience with"motor hub" in West Yorkshire? They have a few on their website but it's a fair way for me to travel to go look
Stay well away.

So i got the head back on, new gaskets, bolts etc and gave it a comp test.
150 150 150 180
Game over lol.
On my old one, that used to pull around 225-230 per cylinder. So its still a fair chunk down lol

You should of had some sort of receipt for goods. If I was them I wouldn't give any time frame just incase something didn't go to plan. £1,500 sounds the going price. To me they don't seem to push products on here. Then again the forum is a dying light it's all facebook warriors now. All in all I would of went the wepr route lol I can't see why you will have any problems with their parts.
They stopped paying traders fees. Seemed to just drop off. Not that it was a bad thing.

Another for midland turbo

Had an RS*R too, very heavy duty build compared to others, easy to adjust aswell.

So my ct9 is at the end of its life as there are 3 huge cracks in the wastegate so im in need of a turbo as fast as possible.
Now in all honesty im after a CT9 Hybrid as i have a new zisco manifold and dont really want to sell it or i can do a swap for a TD04 manifold ect..
If you have a TD04 kit it must have screamer pipe all the oil lines and a good condition turbo with no shaft play.
Please let me know of any CT9 hybrids on the market as im off the road at the moment so i need of one fast.
Please message me or post photos of what you have here.
Cash waiting for CT9 £270 ish
Cash waiting for TD04 Kit £500 ( Im not expecting the external waste gate like the tial to come with it for that price of course..)
Let me know need it asap.
Cheers josh
Any info on the zisco kit you've got?
-
thats good to know as im only 5 mile away lol does he sell parts for them?
Couldnt say, alot of his stuff is custom.
-
thats not far from me, he deals alot with honda now doesnt he?
Yeah but still knows his starlets very well.
-
Dean only did their intake manifold..Not the turbo kits
Ah fair enough, must have just been a rumour lol.
-
I'd wait and get a wepr he may have a kit ready to go. Worth asking. Have seen a few cracked td manifolds recently
Isnt it RW Developments that supplied TD with the manifold/downpipes?
-
Thanks guys! We are now looking for another TD04 kit. Ricky had until today to contact me and supply just the kit but he hasn't as expected so I've called Barclays and they are putting in a legal debit dispute to recover my money within 14 days. Might try wepr but heard the wait is very long! Anyone had any experience with CT9 hybrids from TD?! I'm not planning on forging or anything and they reckon you can get a similar power output!
Any help would be greatly appreciated as we are dying to get it all done and on the road!
Thanks!
WEPR are worth the wait. Go for a TF035, best of both worlds.
