Aw cool that's the job, was worryed couldn't get them, just get them out now, is welding a bolt to it the best bet getting them out??
Drill it out, then tap a screw extractor or at worst a torx bit inside the hole, it should wind out.

Exhaust gasket leaking? That can make some odd noises if it's passing.

I ordered it from toyota this morning hopfully the right bit still looking for the bump stops but may have to bite the bullet and pay £40 each from toyota for them!
KYB do an accessory kit which includes bump stops and covers.
-
Do they need to be glanza or gt or can they just be any starlet?
I'll get you the part numbers. There's two different types. One has a lip round the bottom to retain the spring better.
-
Toyota or some off a breaker. Try to get some off a late 98 car as they're a better design
-
It's worth what ever you want to put it up for imo.
I'd personaly put it up for 4.5k looks like a nice clean example.
Cheers nick.
It's also sat on brand new Pro race 3's with a new set of T1R's. Dont want to sell it but a house purchase is looming lol.

95 GT Turbo Advance, 61k km/37k miles from new. Imported last year, has done around 100 miles on UK roads. Hasnt seen any road salt. Has been stored all winter so is like new underneath. When I took ownership it's had a full service including timing belt, new genuine thermostat/temp sensors. CT9 was rebuilt by Midland turbo at the same time.
Has a few OEM goodies like the pillar map light, fishnet tints, carrozzeria light up speakers, 3 point rear brace
Modification wise its had a brand new WEPR SS power up kit fitted, HKS SSQV 3, Tial 38mm EWG (0.7bar spring).
Brand new KYB shocks/top mounts all round, brand new tein springs, brand new Toyota spring cups and insulators.
Exhaust is a brand new Blitz NUR Spec R system.
Brand new Pagid discs with Yellowstuff pads.
Have all parts to return to standard if need be. Paintwork isnt the best, ideally needs flatting back and mopping. All parts that have been fitted were new and proof of purchase available.
Whats she worth?

Get a competition clutch flywheel.

Bigg red offer either a refurb service or kits. ECP also do a caliper exchange

They're the same that I've fitted to my EP82. All the top mounts are the same from EP80/81/82 and EP91. Imports have a fourth mounting to which the above mounts have.
-
I always thought they did. Are you sure it's the original box?
Nope, still an option. You can tell by the number on the chassis plate.
-
Anyone with a gt advance should be able to help
Not all advances came with an LSD. Mine didnt

It's a shame there's no definitive guide by now. Come on Colin, where are you??
-
Earth problem? You've not left one off when you put the corolla mani on have you?
Cheers nick.
Checked round and everything bolted back up correctly. Gonna have another look tomorrow just to be safe lol 😂

The plug wiggled loose probly or sensor dead
Surely this would just leave the gauge at cold? Not cause the needle to drop like so? Just seems odd that's all.
-
Okey doke, trying to keep costs to a minimum cause I've only had it a week and splurged 400 qyid on a 4efte clutch and lightweight flywheel lol
Brand new I hope at that price??
-
Damn so I'd still have to replace my calipers for a standard one then? And then glanza carriers with discs and pads?
What's the difference in disk size?
Or just buy a set of glanza calipers/carriers complete. 238mm vs 254mm
-
Just seems odd thats all lol.

There's loads of cheap cars on ebay at moment..
-
Narrowing down the suspects...
Going to replace the shocks with new KYB units and just need to find the right springs..
Thinking about maybe getting some custom made, DT said that tein springs are quite hard, same with all aftermarket lowering springs in fact
Tein are progressively wound, the others are just wound uniformly.
-
It's very rarely demon tweeks actually deal with starlets. As I've said. Try the tein springs.
-
I've always gone for new kyb shocks and Tein S Tech springs. They give a nice drop but give just a slightly stiffer ride than standard. It's worked for me time and time again on a few different jap cars. It's a setup I swear by as it doesn't sacrifice comfort for ride height. New shocks will be an improvement on their own.

All you need to do is enlarge the hole so you can get a decent torx bit in
