    Varies really, lowest I get is around 300, but average around 360 miles to a full tank of tesco super unleaded, and the majority of my driving is b roads too lol. Damien

    Halfords are really good tools, never had no problems, surface finish isn't as good, nor is the reputation, ideal as a budget tool, and unlike snapon, halfords will swap with no questions asked. Damien

    Has anyone recently changed their wheel bearings? What i'm after is the actual bearing number, you'll find it printed on the outer race, we use alot of bearings in pumps at work, and if possible i'll order a set, any help would be greatly appreciated!! Damien

    The basics yeah, but if you're going forged, i'd advise giving the whole engine a once over, freshen it all up, it pays to do things the right way. Damien

    Steel rods, forged pistons, new main bearings, maybe a set of cruise valve springs if you fancy it. Damien
