  1. Not really seen much of the Spec ones tbh, gonna stick with a reputable one. Thanks for the info though:D D
  2. Heard some bad stories about exedy clutches tbh. Plus I cant get hold of neither tomorrow as with the other two I can lol D
  3. Anybody got any experiences with them? Any comparisons? I know a few people run them but none give a fair review of them, driveability, service life etc, Any input welcome! Thanks D
  4. You've asked about turning the boost up in another thread. Unless you've got supporting mods its pointless doing anything. You'll only cause more problems for yourself and in turn kill the engine. Start by doing simple things like a cat back exhaust, air filter, decat etc. Then a different map would make sense, which isnt possible on the standard ECU. D
  5. Sounds the usual case being more reliable than a woman lol! Welcome to the club matey D
  6. Welcome to the club matey! Trying to convince Dad to buy an Almera GTI but its taking some doing lol! Get some pics of the machinery you work on, always been interested in Military vehicles D
  7. No lol. They're quite easy to work on. D
  8. Good. And if its the kit from Dean I found that I had to trim an inch or so off the silicon hose so it sat between oil filter and turbo. As for shockers. I've just thrown two front ones away last week lol. D
  9. I know matey. Was quoting billy sr. The engines are lovely to work on lol. D
  10. Easier way to save any slipped spanners is to get a socket on 2 long extensions with a breaker bar, same trick with the car in gear, brakes fully on D
  11. Looks really well. Not bad vans to drive either! D
  12. Check both alternator belt, power steering belt. Either could be screeching when you're putting high load on the engine. Pennies to replace. D
  13. I had a buddyclub spec 2 on my civic. Not the best idea lmao, hondas are way too loud lol D
  14. Best think to do Ryan is make sure you've got everything disconnected before you even think about dropping the engine. Obviously like others have stated, pipework and associated earths etc are best marked up or a picture taken, silly little things like that can make life difficult if forgot about. Gearbox is best to be brought out with the engine then swapped over once out of the car. Far easier to refit lol. If there's anything you have trouble with you've got my bbm! D
  15. Cover the area with masking tape, mark out where you want your cutout and use a hole saw, hopefully the drill should be able to locate enough so the saw can start cutting. Also helps to hold a piece of wood or something to the back of the bumper so it eliminates flex/warping. D
  16. Sleeper. Not shed lol. He mentioned taking it to shows. And besides. You wouldn't think twice when its sat on a set of minilite lookalikes with a tidy tip poking out the back. It would atleast look tidy sat on some nice wheels. Sleepers can come in different forms lol D
  17. Yeah can do matey. Theres quite a few, DavidAshton, Craig-SR and a few others in your area. Why not get it on the road this year? D
  18. Why not just go for an outward rolled tip? Would look retro sat on a set of Rota RB's! D
  19. Nothing too much then lol, if you need a hand matey i'm only in worksop. D
  20. No problems, they're good guys and will make it exactly to suit. All work is guaranteed for life and its brilliant quality. D
  21. Not off the shelf, there was a Fujitsubo system for the N/A available in Japland but is uber rare. Your best bet is to go custom. My advice would be to go to Custom Pipes in doncaster. Great place and the work is spot on! Either that or wait around for a second hand system to pop up. D
