Yeah they dont recommend mixing it with anything other than Toyota Red. I suppose in an emergency you could top it up with water but flush it at soonest convenience. I just have some left over so I kept that for any future top ups. Heres a little info on the Toyota Red coolant. Here D

Yeah it would. If it senses the car is cold it'll run on the cold map till it notices a temp change. And nah. Its silly how it works. Mine did it the other day, always leave mine to warm up before driving. Car just wouldnt get upto temp and it was running really rich. Decided to nip to motor factors for a thermostat, swapped it there and then. Drove home by which time the temp had gone back to usual and the rich smell had gone. If that doesnt cure it then i'd look at the coolant temp sensor. Doesnt sound as if its anything icv related as the idle would fluctuate, if it was tps related then you'd experience hesitation under load and starting issues. Try the thermostat and let us know how you get on. D

Sounds to me like the thermostat is stuck open causing the car to run on a constant cold start map. Obviously when the cars at a standstill its getting no cooling air, yet when at standstill the heat can build up. £10 and a 10 min job! Hope this helps D

EFI pipe is back on. Currently running a decat, full system, efi pipe with a stainless mesh filter. Boost is set to 0.3 before it starts creeping. Not really worried as car doesnt get driven enough. Once it comes off the road for winter then things will get changed. Just wanna keep the car driveable for now. D

Hmm. So was mine lol but the light still came on. And yeah the boost is low but thats due to the boost creep. And port out the manifold. It has big restrictions in the 2nd and 3rd runner. Smoothing it all out makes a big difference. The wastegate is pretty restrictive too. Helps if you port this out too. D

My glanza started touching fuel cut with just an air filter and bypass restriction. Boost pressure isnt the issue. Aslong as it doesnt go past 0.8 bar its fine. Downside is the boost creep which needs to be resolved. I'm running a full cat back system, decat, air filter, at 0.3 bar and it still gets the light to come on. But each car is different, some react differently to others. Its alright doing breathing mods but the manifold and small wastegate are the cause of most problems. If you dont mind getting your hands dirty, do the manifold and turbo. Pretty sure there is guides on how to do so. D

Not really for show. Ideal if you don't wanna sit in your car whilst it cools down. My hks is wired in with my alarm and I have no probs. Also ideal if you want to leave the car whilst its warming up. Is the turbo timer hardwired in or connected using a bridging harness? D

Is the car not garaged? Parked on a drive? I'd stay up and wait for the fuckers to come back. Keep a camera setup to record the car. D

Take proof that you're in the motor vehicle or engineering trade. Payslips, certification etc D

Haha, i'd just done a Z20LEH conversion to my old corsa and the new fusebox didnt have a starter fuse. I spent over a week trying to find he cause before my girlfriend trying to act smart said, "Checked your fuses"? Haha, luckily i'd got a spare one, never felt such a noob lol D
