You've gotta remember the RX8's rev like a bike lol. He's got no turbo lag, just constant power. He'll have better traction too lol Day
-
Lol, been around a bit then, its not far from me Day
-
If its had a rebuild before and its been run in correctly, the bores will seem smooth due to the bedding in process. Did you do a compression test before separating the engine? Day
-
Didnt Lukep kill his 6 speed quite easily? Day
-
Cross hatch honing is a good process because it holds small pockets of all keeping the bore well lubricated. Best thing to do is have an engineer measure the bores for wear. Day

Haha, i've owned one, they're good bikes when they're running, but when the ecu goes pop they're a pain to get hold of. Ended up dropping a CR250 engine in mine. Day
-
One of the worst bikes ever to own, you had no ecu problems yet? Day
-
Ring round local auto factors. Day

I couldnt get out of the dealership quick enough lol. And KYB no longer sell them either. Day
-

You'll find the bump stops are an astronomical price, I went to price a pair up for my Glanza as the bump stops were knackered. Think they came upto £48 a piece lol. Ended up pulling some mints ones off a paseo for £10 lol. Day

Just make sure its a snug fit around the piston otherwise it'll poke through again. Day
-
The problem is you havent got the dust cover on, that contains the said washer what the top mount seats itself on. Day

If you're that worried, remove the thermostat, bolt the housing back up, fill the system with water, drop some of http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_categoryId_255217_productId_211647_langId_-1?cm_mmc=Shopping-_-Google%20Product%20Search-_-Car%20Care%20%26%20Maintenance%2FCar%20Parts%20%26%20Spares%2FHead%20Gasket%20%26%20Exhaust%20Repairs-_-Bars%20Flush%20Cooling%20System%20Cleaner&source=shopping in. Give it a good run, bearing in mind you're not running a thermostat so it'll take a while to warm up, not to mention run slightly richer.

If the engine is left to hang without any support, you'll find the engine rests on the chassis rails, with some cars the crank sensor is in the contact area. I've seen it done before where the sensor has been smashed/damaged. Day -
I had this issue once, just nip to toyota, they usually stock them. Day
-
Do be warned that some kits from ECP are basically just reboxed Valeo kits, I had one when from them, it lasted 3 weeks on low boost. Day

Its what keeps the rear beam from making any serious lateral movement, when a car is lowered, the length of the panhard rod doesnt change. Thus, pulling it to one side. RSR, Whiteline, Cusco all produce them. Day
-
You got a panhard rod fitted? I know when i've had teins fitted I needed a panhard rod to realign the rear beam. Day
-
As above, were the springs fitted properly? Day

Competition clutch stage 4, bit expensive but worth it. Fitted one to a 300bhp exige which uses the exact clutch kit, nice solid feel on the pedal and 6000 miles on its still going strong. Day
