  1. Jamie best thing to do is put a smidgeon of silicon grease on the o-rings and injector seals. Best way to do it is fit the injector seals first, then lube up the o rings, fit to injector rail, gentley lift the raill/injectors and fir into the seals. Hold it in till you've fitted the spacers/bolts and nipped up finger tight. D
  2. Might just be worth dropping in some different oil and maybe an additive whilst saving for a rebuild, until you've got it in a car and running power through it you've no way of checking, you're just taking the guys word for it.
  3. I've used them on two different starlets of mine and never had a problem. I use tein s tech springs, what springs are you using? D
  4. Go for some KYB Excel G gas shocks. Great for a lowering spring setup. Older shocks are oil filled and tend to overheat quickly. D
  5. Low fluid levels? Tensioner come loose? There should be a locking nut/bolt that may have come loose? Belt shagged lol? Pulley loose? D
  6. Find out the thread sizes and go to a hose specialist. D
  7. Takes away the novelty of it being an auto though. This is gonna be mental on a strip! You planning on taking it to pod at all? D
  8. Haha, does Sam know her pics are on here Dale lol? D
  9. Just by any chance is the nut not wound down fully to secure the collet in the top mount? Are the two top mount nuts tightened up properly? You need to find the source of the problem first and be sure of it before throwing money at it. Neither of the above components are cheap especially if its a case of something not being tight. Kyb excel g gas shocks are great with tein s tech springs. Might be worth opting for a set of coilovers? D
  10. Ahh right. I know they dont take a lot. Helps we've got two toyotas so can always pinch my parents stuff lol. And yeah. Drop the thermostat out, drain all coolant out, fill system with water and let it circulate. Drain off fully, refit thermostat then fill system with the red. Thats how I do it anyway. And haha, I didnt notice it at first lol/ D
  11. Haha, droplinks are a pain! They arent very expensive anyway. Polybush ones are like £20 for both sides I think. D
  12. Is it the drop link thats spinning? I'd be tempted to cut it on the drop link then use a slitting disc to cut the nut off. D
  13. Had a nosey about on whiteline and ultra racing and found nothing, it is worth offering it up? It should fit seeing as all the other suspension components are interchangeable D
  14. If you read the above link it explains why they recommend the Toyota Red coolant. D
  15. I bought 2x 5l premixed. Was plenty to flush system completely and fill expansion bottle. And its behind the o/s//r tail light. Little plastic cover. And not sure lol? No white trim inside the glanza? Unless its from the top of the rear screen inside? D
  16. Swings and roundabouts really lol, everyones got their own rules in regards to the coolant lol. And it might be lol, always go through trade anyway lol.
  17. If you flush the system properly and bleed it through with the red stuff you shouldnt be using any water lol. Why not just carry a topup carton in the hideaway where the jack is? Cant see a bit of water affecting it, better if its distilled water. D
  18. It just explains a little more about the Toyota Red stuff. I dont know how much it is retail as I get it on a trade discount lol which works out around £8 for 5 litres of the premixed stuff. Ebay might be a good bet to find it cheaper D
  19. Nasty little things lol. Mates MG has just popped due to the thermostat sticking shut. Now i'm tasked with an engine swap lol:( D
  20. Haha, it is, was fun chasing a TVR who wouldnt get out of the way lol, so kept pushing and pushing till he ditched it on tower corner. Ended up a pretty expensive day for him lol. I cant wait either:D Gonna be mad lol D
  21. Haha, make sure you check your brakes before going out on track lol. Love being on track lol, got pulled off of combe one year lol D
  22. This is one good reason why i'm going lol! D
