ill be taking the lights off the sleeper when i can be bothered . ok so half of friction stuff will do the whole box ? may aswell ask whats the best engine oil to buy aswell ? if rain stays off will be gettin the engine loom and box out today then i need to get a hold of an engine hoist but may just buy one and sell it when im done.

if you hadnt been so far away would have been handy but i think ill manage slowly . ill think of it as a learning process. gives me confidence though that it can be done in under one day so when i have a week off that gives me 6 days to plug in the looms when ya takin pics of your 5e ? Russell

cool. ill remember that when i do it. slight progress . got one driveshaft off today. didnt go as planned so ended up just rippin it out. none of the bolts on the hub would come off. snapped bout 5 tools . at this point i decided im not doin my own cv boot on my car but anyway one drive shaft is off and one to go before i can work on the box comin out. after this all happened in the rain i had to do somethin that would make me feel good when finished so... could a mod change the subtitle in my topic aswell . just put it to swap in progress or somethin Russell

for anyone who doesnt know, i bought streetracer_starlets sleeper. i dont know much about ecu's but im wonderin if its worth an upgrade. i just saw the fcd and remembered someone telling me there not good for the engine. heres some pics and any advice would be greatly appreciated. cheers Russell

interior loom out now. hate wiring looms officially now.

little update . started takin the car to bits. took the rad off fmic off exhaust off. drained oil, coolant , powersteering fluid and gearbox oil gonna change all fluids anyway. couple of questions though is ther a seperate place for diff oil and gearbox oil or are they the same thing ? and does disconnecting the battery reset anythin ecu wise ? prob a bit late because its already done anyway Cheers Russell
