i prefer the conversion because I've ended up with a starlet cd and basically a 190 bhp glanza for 4k. not a bad deal having the sleeper was great fun while it lasted though. i done the conversion mainly because im tired of goin to garages and wanted to learn to do stuff myself so thought id start with changin an engine haha Russell

engine oil - i used nearly 4 litres to get it to full gearbox oil - used just over 2 litres powersteering - bought a small bottle from halfrauds and i still have some left engine coolant - used nearly all 5 litres of the big bottles hope that helps Russell

sure it was boosting fine before i swaped the engine. not very clued up in the ecu department. hks fcon and gcc piggyback. not sure if thats even what deals with boost. just does it all the time. never goes up and down though. like if it goes to 14 and i keep the foot down it doesnt change and never goes. doesnt feel any different at all and i would have though if it was an actual boost problem i would notice 5 psi.

should be boosting 1.2 bar which is about 17 psi yet gauge doesnt show that. sometimes 14 sometimes 16 sometimes even 12. dunno if it could be my gauge? ideas anyone ?? Russell

back one works fine and they all worked before i changed over the loom but all appears to have been put back where it was.all bulbs been changed. kinda stumped on this annoying problem because when i try indicate all i get is the back one goin twice as fast lol. any ideas would be helpful Russell

the way I've herd people talk about fcd and rrfpr setup made me think it was way bad guess not.

16psi will kill your turbo. standard ct9 can handle about 1 bar (14.5 psi ) max . hyrbids are capable of 1.3 bar though (about 19 psi) internals will handle 200bhp not sure on injectors. also. fitting an fpr and fcd is meant to be the bad way to go about things. better to get a decent ecu too. I run an hks fcd and rrfpr with an hkd fcon ecu and gcc piggyback and from what i know thats decent. People feel free to correct any of this info. Russell

as said it could be a leak. my rear main on seal on my n/a was gone and it never really dripped on my drive but could see it all around where the box goes onto the engine. this needed filling every week or so. ( note to self, still need to fix this ) Russell

the 5efe will go straight in and just plug in but the 4efte will fit but need custome wiring.

exactly the same engine so id imagine anything out a n/a engine

cool hobby. only thing i dont like about fish is when you have to clean them out. very relaxing to watch though.

just take everything off. if you dont want the airbag then the only thing that should be left is the unit with stalks etc. well thats what my cars have. can take a pic of mine if you like ?

yeh it does feel a bit awkward to walk up to a random tough to set a space though . also saw the glanza spewin smoke.

yeh was quite funny because he was just dancin but would sometimes just stop and stare blankly ahead for a few secs.
