wont make a difference in actual power but if it was slipping badly then you may feel a difference as its actually puttin down the power.

Done this today. Will be more annoying if your engine is in your car though lol. Mine is on a tyre so is fine I'll pretend it's from when the car was running though: 1. remove driveshafts ( drain oil ) 2. unbolt clutch cylinder 3. disconnect gear selectors 4. support engine 5. unbolt gearbox and mount. 6. take of gearbox Now is where I've started Remove clutch by first removing the 6 golf bolts Next the flywheel. Bolts are very tight so I used a ratchet extention to stop it turning. Proped it against the coolant bit and a wee stump on the wheel itself. Remove the 6 centre bolts and it will wobble off. One 10mm bolt holds the cover bit on so take that off. Now you see the oil seal ( brown bit. old one is proped against the tyre. ) To remove the old one i just used the end of a flat screwdriver and pried it out. wasnt hard. then the new one just presses in. Hope it was a little bit helpful

yeh I've seen them both. a mate told me to watch one and i watched the wrong one so then watched the other one. yeh it makes you think about alot of stuff.

its a bit mental now like with prices. annoyin how you dont get a say. there like gangsters just basically sayinoh we are goin to add ANOTHER 2p on ( they do it just about everymonth ) and there jack you can do about it. i use about 80 a week but only because i drive a while to work everyday. still can get nearly 300 miles out my turbo though.

your certainly good at coming across good cars for cheap lol. think my car will be off road for winter too especially if i get shiny new wheels. not a fan of rovers but i have a mate who has a 220 turbo. 200 bhp standard. prob same engine. quite nippy when it works. shame he drives like a granny still a decent buy.

good to check it but something that was obvious that i never thought about at the time. it happened at my mates and when i got there i saw the bolt fall onto the ground and just picked it up not thinkin haha. it was ever so slightly hot .

had the same thing the other day. could tell i had a big leak from somewhere and as opened the bonnet one fell off ont the ground and there was onloy 1 still tight and mine 2 were mega tight at the start. i just keep checking them all the time now .

that looks amazin now. lights look perfect.
