dont think its an alarm issue because the alarm works fine. like opens the car and locks it and goes off when ya shake it. im just not sure where all the earths are ment to go. can earths be the reason why its not even turning over. glad i got the rest done quick like. this is the last hurdle and its running.

all interior is working like dash lights and indicators etc but when i try to turn ignition on then it just doesnt do anything. can hear the starter relay switchin in the fusebox but nothing happens at all. really need some help on this one. think it could be anythin to do with the alarm / imobiliser ?

whats legal to do to a numberplate. like can i cut the excess white off as long as i leave the numbers alone or is it the actual plate aswell as letters that have to be a certain size. Russell

bit of hacksawin of the front bumper. fluids all filled up. put dash back together after a bit of hacksawin at the steerin column to make the turbo indicator stalk bit fit properly and then find some plugs. fuel pump swap and i think that is all :harhar: bring on tomorrow

yeh makin a good bit progress. wiring is taking its toll on my brain but ill have an update tomorrow. seem to have alot of random plugs without anythin to connect to though but i havent been under it yet to look so i think ill find a few more. fingers crossed i dont run into any big problems. the drain plug is on the bottom and pretty easy to get to. yeh i think its either 24 or 25 i can check tomorrow and ill put it up here and see how filling up goes.

the small pipe that comes off the inlet mani and goes into a t-piece which one part goes to my boost gauge but I've forgot where the other part goes anyone know ??

the only bolt i can see that came off left a small hole that seems stupid for a fill point if anyone could take a picture it would be helpful but also any info would be good. thanks Russell

ok so i started today instead but got some done and got a few pictures up ;). car is finished being off the ground apart from exhaust now . shafts fitted fine and just the wiring to go now. bring on tomorrow after a good night sleep lol. worked solid for most of the day. Russell

well i needed the interior loom from it so everything came out not stripping anything out yet but if i get the silver one back up and use that as a work/runabout then i might be tempted to fully strip out the rep . Russell

update. sorry for the lack of pictures. i just dont think about taking any once I've started but : Bought an engine hoist and now the engine is out . basically everythin that is goin into my car is out and waiting apart from the walbro fuel pump. bought all my bits n bobs for a service also this friday my car begins to be taken to bits and hopefully by moneday the fte should be gettin dropped in. countdown to friday. again sorry for nae pictures. ill defo take some of the engine going into mind . yes looked like a pretty screwed piston . whats your full spec now because im liking them figures and plan to go forged but i might be ahead of myself as i dont even have a working turbo motor at the moment
