  4. update. sorry for the lack of pictures. i just dont think about taking any once I've started but : Bought an engine hoist and now the engine is out . basically everythin that is goin into my car is out and waiting apart from the walbro fuel pump. bought all my bits n bobs for a service also this friday my car begins to be taken to bits and hopefully by moneday the fte should be gettin dropped in. countdown to friday. again sorry for nae pictures. ill defo take some of the engine going into mind .   5. yes looked like a pretty screwed piston . whats your full spec now because im liking them figures and plan to go forged but i might be ahead of myself as i dont even have a working turbo motor at the moment

  10. Im about to do a conversion but i have plug n play wirin looms with mines. Sure wiring wise you need to get some custom stuff made up. Other folk on here will know the score. As far as i know ul need the engine , intercooler , 4efte powersteering pipe i think although i dont know why yet , ecu , exhaust and obviously a turbo if your engine wasnt coming with one. Price really depends of what condition your after. Can pick up engines pretty cheap at the moment though. Hope theres something helpful in there somewhere. Russell
  11. crazy lol. think if i was to have a bike engine in a car it would have to be the mk1 gold that has it and is basically made of carbon. extra wheel would do wonders

  13. engine ready to come out the turbo car i have and just waiting for my week on at the start of august to take the engine into my glanza rep. all goin well it shouldnt take long. it will be tight but if i think im gonna be ther ill post up nearer the time
  14. aww got my hopes up when i saw august. my car will be in bits for the first week in august. buuuut if things go smooth as possible i could maybe make it in my freshly converted beast.

  19. its crazy weather here. its like 10 minutes of sunshine followed by ten minutes of heavy rain which means i cant work sometimes and my wages go down

  21. not sure how to word this. when i change over engines. all wiring included. will i need to change key and ignition barrel aswell. im not sure on electrics but i was just thinking that the imobiliser will be part of ecu somewhere and that if i change that ill need to take ignition barrel with it or am i just totally wrong.
  22. thats what i ment with bigger brakes. already has the gt hubs on it because i think you need them for the brakes to fit. but if not i can always change. its just because i burst one of the cv boots on the turbo one ;). once i get started out ill make a rough comparison and prob just try keep them.

  24. when im, doin my engine conversion will i need to swap the shafts aswell ? NOTE: i already have the bigger brakes on my n/a Russell
