i just checked, paseo's are insurance group 7 my cars done 92,000 miles now, and im afraid that when i replace the gearbox, something else is gonna go wrong and i dont wanna diesal lol, i like instant power, but i wouldnt mind a golf or a3 1.9 TDI 130, but insurance would kill me

the gearbox in my starbo is completely gone! need suggestions for a new car, i was thinking civic, but i dont want the shitty 1.4, at least the 1.5 vtec but it as old as my starbo (around 98) then i was thinkin mx-5 1.6, but i dont think ill get cheap insureance for that lol my budget is around £2500 if worst comes to worst ill have to get a 1.6 mk4 golf, which isnt exacty a fun car Anup

kl but im no mechanic and i wont know if ders anything wrong, but ill have a go anywhey and its only 15" wheels, but the wheels arn't light tho

all four wheels are balance amjad and if im accalaraing on a smooth road it will, and i literally have to fight it!

well it feels like the weight of the rims is making the car change direction, a little like torque steering but it happens under accelation and braking . Its quite dangerous, and i can take my hand of the wheel for 1 second when driving. It also happens when the road is quite uneven and quite bumpy. This never happened when i had my steel wheels, only since ive got my alloys. its not alignment because when i keep my steering wheel straight it stays straight, and yes ive had a 4 wheel align done but it hasn't solved the problem. Any help would be useful, as i want to get an anti lift kit, but i want to sort this out before i put it on. Anup

i just did this yesterday......u can do it that way^^ or i just put a flathead screwdriver in-between the outer ring and the screw bit and i just dug the screwdriver in and kinda 'yanked' it out lol and i didnt even damage it Anup
