im not sure if its related but when i got my clutch replaced my brakes have become a lot worse, i seem to have to be pressing the brake pedal a lot more, and it was serviced and MOT'ed in december so there shouldn't be any problems. everything was done at a Toyota garage aswell maybe theres some sort of connection between the brakes and the clutch

nice 1! wheres the carpet? lol Edit: i just read it now dont get a glanza 1! get some acoustic carpet, cut it to size and then put it in. it'll reduce the road noise a lot!

is there any difference between the 5efe airbox and the 4efe airbox. I no the 5efe has a wider and bigger air intake (pipe from the front of the engine) but is there any differences in the actual airbox? Anup

hey thanks man for finding the links! ;) but the reason im going for this one...... http://www.cliffordproductsdirect.com/onli...;products_id=42 because it comes with fitting aswell, and they come to you, not the other way round. And i no it'll work out slightly cheaper if i get some random garage to do fiting and buy a cheaper kit from somewhere else, but im also wanting reliability and a proffesional fit. the link above ^^ also has lifetime warranty and also i no its legit not some dodgy stuff. how much did all of your alarms set you back? (fitted) im looking at the 'Hornet Maxx 1' , its £219.99 fitted and its 'Thatcham Evaluated Category 1' , and 'On-board Dual-Circuit Immobilisation ' im guessing the second thing is an immobiliser because i dont think i have 1 right now Anup Edit : that price is without the central locking, im still locking into the central locking.

what alarm do u have? where did u get it fitted? and if u dont mind me asking how much did it cost?

exactly what i was gonna do!! im thinking bout a clifford alarm im asking it new just because it would be a pain taking it from another starlet breaking, and it'll still be 11 or so years old. and if i get it new from Toyota maybe they can fit it professionally anyone know? Thanks Anup

hey i have a starlet 'S' which mean no central locking and being a 5 door it get pretty annoying! i was wondering if Toyota do a central locking kit for the starlet, because most strlets have central locking (higher models) i think there must be because if the central locking goes wrong in a strlet they must be able to replace it wouldn't they? if there is then what would the price of it be, and fitting also? i know wenever i look at in, i always thing hmmmm how would it lowered. and where did you get your import plates from amjad? do you have to send any documents to them? and i have already noticed the amount of extra grip i have and also because of the spigots, the fact that all my wheels are balanced properly and i just got a 4 wheel align, my car doesnt shake when i go past a certain speed on the motorway, and thanks to every1 on this forum that helped me on my wheel problems, really helped Anup
