dont boot it when the water gauge goes up. the oil comes up for me like another 15minutes depending on the weather. i recomend getting a oil temp gauge. that way your certain its ok to boost

i idle her for 30sec - 1 minute then drive off boost until my oil temp gauge goes up. That way i know the oil is fully warmed up and going around.

I just sold my standard ct9 in MINT condition to a guy that needed it. Im using a ct9 hybrid at the moment but im not 100% if i should of sold it the standard ct9. Only because if my hybrid fails i dont have nothing to replace it. Ok maybe i could look at getting another hybrid and the car is set up for a hybrid but i like to keep a spare. Its just bugging me!! Does people keep spares ? or just sell on as soon as you replace it for better/bigger things?

I have used SPC horsham 2 times but i'm going to go with Hayes engineering which is 10minutes from this time recommended by starlet owners. As soon as i get my walbro pump i think im going to go there and see what they can achieve by upping the boost nd see if its safe. I also got a full system now and a gizmo boost controller so hopefully theres a nice difference in hp since last time (186 @ 1bar)

Hi all, I currenty running a tong hybrid @ 1 bar on a forged engine (low comp) using a FPR. Now would be safe to tune it to 1.1-1.2bar of boost using a FPR ? I made a thread over the tgtt site and got some mixed opinions. Whats ya thoughts ?

maybe i should have a check. g ot mine set up before i put a new forge engine in. now i got a catback exhaust system.

Oh ok, yeh if i alter the revs while its stuck sometimes comes out sometimes not... this is while the clutch is depressed still.

Thanks, i did top it up as it was running low as just fitted a forged engine in. But i will try and put fresh oil in. Would halfords own brand do the jobby ? And its factory gearbox Thanks

Hi guys.. recently just exedy organic clutch and on cold start ups sometimes 1st gear gets stuck. Sometimes stiff trying to pull out of 2nd to go into 3rd. Once its warmed up it doesnt do it as much. Any ideas? Thanks

Thanks for all your inputs. I did a compression test 2 weeks ago and came back around 150 on all 4 cylinders. I'v just flushed and empited out the radiator and looking down inside the rad, the fins are covered with that gunk. I'v added toyota red mix inside. Im waiting for a new rad cap to see if it resolves this lift of coolant up the expansion tank, and it dont syphon back into the radiator when cools down ! . (It started overflowing when it was on the rollers)

It feels like sand,or mud I've also get alot of coolant built back up into the expansion tank and sometimes comes out of the overflow pipe after a motorway journey or a good thrashing.

Are these any good ? I need a boost controller that will hold boost and tune the turbo to kick in earlier on my hybrid ? Thanks
