I have only ever taken it off bit by bit once. I cut my fingers many times so i vowed never to do it again. I even take the radiator for more space to faf around in . Bourkey

Nah i do it slightly different rob. I take it off in one big piece with the mani turbo and cat all in one. It's so much easier. Then i put it in a vice to hold it when i take it apart . It is a gutted cat Sparky . Bourkey

I would get it off and sorted asap mate before it turns undrivable. The day i went to sort mine out i had to move the car a couple of yards and i started it up and it didn't sound healthy at all. Luckily i was taking it all off that day. Sort out the small problem before it becomes a big one . Bourkey

It was all free bud. My dad and his mate did all the work on it :surrender:. The amount of work would of cost a fair bit as well. The turbo porting was done with a dremel with grinding stones and also a drill on the wastegate. It took a good day to do the turbo and a hour at least to do the work on the manifold. Im so glad my dad had the stuff to do this otherwise i'd be paying a fair bit. Bourkey

Yes a crack would make a massive difference. I have recently realised ther has been a loss of power in mine and i have found some good sized cracks in the manifold. The first sign is a louder exhaust note. Thats is when i noticed mine had a problem. Bourkey

Right been a busy little bee this weekend. All started like this :drunk2: 1stly the mani. Autobahn manis are so shit it's unreal. I hade seral engineers look at it and they all said it was extremely poor quality. The welds, the brackets every bit of it. After pulling all the mani and turbo off i found a good few cracks that i have had to get fixed. The surface that sits against the engine has also been skimmed as it was half a mm out wich is massive in engineering terms. Anyway here are the results. Before After Next the turbo. You can run safely at 1 bar and a regulator easily. Look at Dub Se7ens build and it is the only thing he has used. He obviously has it set up properly on a rolling road but properly setup it is fine. That is what im getting setup for as well. 3 bar of fuel pressure is what i have been advised to use as well. Bourkey
