Just letting you all know im home now. Im really cold because i have been in a really hot hospital so even though it lovely and sunny it feels like winter to me. When i got up and looked out into my yard and looked to see no car it feels really weird. There are still tyre marks on the floor from the SR aswell. . I can't walk very well yet so im a prisoner in my own home really. I was hardly muscley before but i have nothing on me now so even lifting up a laptop is tiring. I've had a good look at the pictures now and i can't believe how bad it is. Im fairly doubtful they will give me the

I have just been told im going home today or tomorrow. im so happy i could cry right now. My work have also just sent in a lovely bunch of flowers as well . Im justing for the latest chest X-Ray to check im ok. One of my lungs is fine but the other is deflated so it has to be watched. Im getting some feeing back in my hand but it will be a good while until i can use it as the nerve is still damged. I'll sort getting the car back when i get home depending how i feel Bourkey

Cheers Im slowly getting better now. I need physio to walk properly again and to get my hand movement back. My wounds are also healing but im going to be left with a few scars. Im going to try to get the SR back so you can all be blessed with some of the remaining parts. Please dont pm me or dib anything as it will be wasting energy i dont have . People have also asked about my next car. I have a few ideas but i'll decide when im allowed to drive again, which will be a month or two. Bourkey

hi again, firstly, i dont reply much as the typing tires me out so you will have bear with me for personal updates from me. i usually just do short facebook updates. i am slowly getting better now and im not in intensive care now. i have also had all the tubes coming out of me removed so im more comfortable now. im currently being taught how to walk again which is extremely difficult as i have little strength. im on quite a few anti biotics aswell to help me mend. in my arm i have a metal rod down the length of the bone with 2 screws holding it in place. this will be for life. im looking for

hi again firstly i would like to express my gratitude for those who saved my life. i cannot thank you enough. like i said i dont know what happened and probably never will remember. if was my fault i am very sorry. i know the road very well and i wouldnt usually be stupid on it. i havent seen the pictures yet as this web is crap but ive heard from others the car is a mess. as for me my right lung is ok, left one is collapsing and my arm is a mess. fingers crossed im on the mend. bourkey

hi again, im a bit more awake today. i couldnt tell you what happened as ive had several stories. i may not have a car but i have my life. im in quite a bit of pain as i have a good few injuries. im going to be in hospital for another week as well. thanks for all your wishes Bourkey

I can do it and i have done it many times. You do need spring compressors and you need a powerful impact drill to get the nuts off the top otherwise the shock piston will just spinn around. If you were closer i could have done them for you. I fitted a set of springs to Newbe's car the other week as well. Bourkey

I'd hate to have found this cat. The closest i have got to killing a living thing was when i was flying along a good while ago and a bird swoops down head on towards my windscreen. At the last second it changes its mind but it was too late. It's arse hit my windscreen and it shat as it slid up the winscreen and over the car. It was mega funny at the time. Bourkey

They are very easy to fit mate. It's just like changing a bulb. I fitted some for the first time to a Punto the other day. A baby could do it ;). Bourkey
