  1. If you are questioning wheather you want to do it or not then get a Glanza or GT. If you want to do the swap you shouldn't let anything or anyone change your mind as it is a big commitment with the cost/insurance/times etc.. I did it and i would never look back. In my opinion it was worth it as i enjoyed doing the swap myself and smiled every time i drove it (except when i wrote it off). I'd only replace the brakes if your going on the track a lot. As someone has said, on the road it is the same as a normal Glanza. The track is were you would see the difference. The Standard brakes are good f
  2. Bloody hell...i may be able to go again. Will only be for Saturday night and Sunday though. Bourkey
  3. I've had a slight ray of light that i may be able to come for Saturday for around 7pm. Be there for one night (duurrrrrr). So if i am coming i would like one, Siobhany wants one and her mate does. Im not sure if it matters if i mention sizes but i will anyway. 1. Joey 2. Phil (because I are a member of TC - i have the decals, i must be a member????!!!!!!!!!) 3. Bourkey (Medium) 4. Siobhan (fitted size 10) 5. Siobhan's friend, Fiona (Fitted size 14) 6. Bourkey
  4. Well donâ??t get your hopes up too much as I have just realised I canâ??t come . I have my community service every Saturday and I will not be able to skip it. Im really gutted as you can imagine. So take me off the list Bourkey
  5. The Corsa will hopefully be parked in a skip somewhere . Don't worry i wouldn't want that anywhere near the stand. It is shit beyond belief. Ah well if anyone drops out of the karting i'll give it a bash. Maybe another time then. Bourkey
  6. We are currently going at the moment. Just depends on how skint i am after i get paid. I've got a couple more bills to catch up on after been off work for so long. We will probably coming in the shitest car in the world...Lake Corsa. Civic will be gone by then as im not keeping a car on my drive for a year. Depending on my arm is put me down for karting . I weigh as much as an ant and have won pretty much every race i've ever been in a kart. Bourkey
  7. Well hello all!!!! Iâ??ve not been on in quite some time as Iâ??ve been pretty dam busy. So here is a big update!! Firstly the police decided I needed punishing that little bit more for my accident so I was charged with dangerous driving. This comes with a prison sentence for the worse offences like mine so I had to get a good solicitor on the job. Itâ??s cost a few grand but it has kept me out of jail. I have been extremely busy as I had to do all the running around to keep costs down. My case was a £10k-£15k case which Iâ??ve got down to around £5k by usi
  8. I agree, this is getting pretty daft now. The bar guy waas a bit tight not playing his track when anyone who asks gets a request but for Gerrard to fight like that was out of order. Get him sweeping the streets for a bit and a large fine. Jail wont do anything to him, doing something embarrassing will . Bourkey
  9. Walk away smiling bud. You were very lucky indeed. Just take it as a little lesson not to do it again and if people slag you off just take it on the chin. They will only be jealous you are still driving . Bourkey
  10. Blimey. Bit of a shock. Mum is a massive fan and she text me. He had his up's, downs and personal issues like everyone. I wasn't a fan of him but he was a brilliant artist. R.I.P. Bourkey
  11. Yep Toyota. Im sure they will be in the part numbers section somewhere . Dont cost much i don't thin either. Bourkey
  12. Check all the clutch pipes for a leak. This happened to me once and it was as you described. Mine was a torn slave cylinder rubber. Bourkey
  13. You also need the brackets that hold the Glanza bumper on . Bourkey
  14. Looking at that FMIC i say spray it black. It would look awesome i reckon . Bourkey
  15. Should be fine bud but if you have ever seen the standard one i'd change it to be safe . The standard one is mega restrictive i think. Bourkey
  16. You will be fine and have no problems...BUT...When you look at the car from the back you can clearly see that the car is out of line. Asda noticed it straight away on mine when it was getting MOT'd. It doesn't cause you any problems but im pretty sure it makes a difference, no matter how big or small, getting the proper Panard Rod to make sure the rear is in line. Up to you though bud. My rear stepped out of line which caused me to crash so i would personally get the panard rod. Bourkey
  17. I think this is an awesome idea. In the current climate with people saving money by doing stuff themselves. These are going to do very well i think. Bourkey
  18. I have to agree with Rubix here. It's all about smoothing. Even if it isn't practical aswell. It does look pretty good on the Starlet as the UK ones and the Glanzas are quite rounded. I'd personally never do it though as a jap car is a jap car and not a euro car. Bourkey
  19. :P the first mod is new wheels. God you are a legend mate. 2nd mod...Wheels . Really nice GT though bud. I'll be seeing it at a Yorks meet when i go . Good luck with it ;). Bourkey
  20. My mates went to see Hangover. They said it was hilarious!!!! Im going to see it sometime i think. The new Terminator was awesome i thought. Bourkey
  21. I disagree with this. Motorway driving is the easiest type of driving. Just because it is fast does not mean it is dangerous. All you have to do is drive straight with the odd curve here and there. The hardest bit is coming on and off. It's the nervous people whose parents have told them to avoid going on the motorway from the day they pass that makes it unsafe. The first thing you should do is jump in at the deep end and get on it to see there is nothing to worry about. Driving round your local town is the hardest. You have millions of different things that can happen, kids, pets, thick peop
  22. True the motorway speed limit was put there in the 60's or 70's i think. Cars have come a long way since then with their ABS, DSC, seat belts, crumple zones, airbags etc. Even the shitest of hatchbacks will sustain a crash now. BUT, driver training hasn't changed much at all which is why people cant drive in a straight line on a motorway. In other countries like finland and Germany their driving tests are more intense to create better drivers. Better drivers leads to less crashes. This is why it is still a 70mph limit. Bourkey
  23. I can't really criticise as i have done this once or twice but putting it on here was pretty dam stupid. I thought i had learnt my lesson 2 years ago when i was caught doing 70 in a 30. I got away with it as the policeman let me go. 6 weeks later i was giving it a tickle again. I've learnt the hard way by crashing my pride and joy and nearly dying. So think abut it next time you do it again. Pretty much everyone speeds, it's if you can control them speeds what matters. Bourkey
  24. Of course you can. If these pictures will save lives then it will make it all woth while. Bourkey
  25. @ Boostjunkie - Yep that is exactly what the docs have said. They said i have to take care for the next few years as i don't want to upset any of the massive amount of recovery i have done so far. I have fallen on my arm again so i don't think that helps . I saw the x rays of my lungs properly today and they said that they collapsed a massive amount. I had a drain going into each lung to get the fluid off them. Everyone is telling me to take it easy but i just can't wait until get better. It's soooooo frustrating. I can just lift a laptop . I have been into hospital.....AGAIN....today to fin
