Howdy, The council don't have a leg to stand on. If you have not heard from them in 14 months they cannot suddenly turnaround and say they want £800. I can't remeber what the legal term is but i'll find out at work on Monday. I would get proper legal advice & representation as Councils can be nasty. They will send baliffs round and put CCJ's on your record. DON'T just ignore it. Sort it out asap!!!!!! If your in the north west i may be able to help you. Bourkey

Personally i'd trim a section out of the middle so the two vent holes sit nicely at the front. Dub Se7en has done this and it looks really good. Bourkey

I was going to say something like that ecks but i was in a rush. Ecks is right though. My sub is 1000 watt max power and i have a 300w amp powering it. It sounds really good and punchy. The last thing you want to do is fill your car with weighty subs or tons of bass. You have to have some sort of balance in the sound. I have two very loud pioneer 4" er's at the front and the 12" sub in the back. I was going to add 6x9's but there was just no need as that was plenty. I haven't even got the sub on a high setting as im not mad on bass. Bourkey

It's not doing the continuous clicking noise that happens when your battery is flat. It's just one click and nothing else. The lights are bright and the radion and sub work fine. I've got a spare starter so im gonna swap it later. If that doesn't work then i will splash out on a battery. @ Rob - That exhaust has gone unfortunately. Looks really good as well. @ Dub - Yeah the battery is fine. Radio pumps away, lights come on and headlights work. What it does is make a tiny single click and then nothing. It sounds like the motor is engaging on the flywheel but the motor isn't working. I think... maybe you can shed some more light on it. @ firsttoymota - Yeah it's the only place i go. They usually have everything i need. Never had any problems there and they are nice guys aswell. Bourkey

Yes you can only go in if you are taken down there by them or im with you as i know them. Thats the scrap yard i go to. The section you are talking about is where they stick all the decent stuff as they are sick of dicks they don't recognise coming along and wrecking their cars. It all started a few weeks ago when someone wanted an exhaust of a new car so he ripped off the bumper to get to it instead of taking it off incase someone else wanted it. Right my car is ticking me off royal now!!!! 1st problem - My car is making a sort of clunking/rubbing noise when i drive. I've gota feeling this is the CV joint but im not sure what side so i might just replace both. Can anyone tell me if im correct as i don't want to spend a load of dosh on something that i don't need. 2nd problem - My fecking starter motor is not working. When i start it, it just clicks and thats it. Does this mean it's knackered? I have a spare one in the garage if so. But... Why would you want two Fli subs. Have you heard one. They pack quite a bit of punch you know. I have one in my boot and it bangs pretty hard. Two of them and you wouldn't be able to hear the treble of the sound. All you would hear is bass. Here is my boot I'd say a 300w-500w amp would be more than sufficent. A 1000w amp would kill it in a week. Hope this helps Bourkey

I have already had this situtation explained to me in detail by a friend at work. It's a crap situation really were decent people get the same label. I personally hate them for it as i know people that get so much abuse. Scum of the earth. I can't see how blowing up yourself and others is good. Why would anyone want to live in a world like that. Wow what a weekend. By far the best 525 mile round trip ever. We had the time of our life as did my mrs. It was great to put some more faces to user names again. Some of the motors there were stunning. Well worth it if you ask me!!!!! We went over Snakes Pass one the way back in the dark. It was clear of traffic so i give the new anti roll bar a good test. . Im setting off in like 3 hours. I haven't slept yet either. I've been pissing around looking for a stupid adapter for the generator as i have got it out for the first time to see it has industrial sockets. So i have pulled apart some industrial tools with sockets on and put it on my extension lead. . Im not even bothering with sleep as i will not get up to go. Im still far from ready as well.
