if you get the engine balanced well and all that then thers no reason why it wont like to rev I've a 5efte and it loves to rev its amazing once it hit boost on a td04 at like 3k it just shot straight to the redline - it loved it

yer i know what you mean dude but i think you'd rather it be slightly boggy off boost than it spitting a rod through the block personally on a stock engine i would be wanting a thicker gasket as ricky says above go for the 1.9 or at least the 1.6 off boost it wont really be that bad anyway + if your like me then youll be on boost most of the time so it wont matter - anyway all you have to do is change down a gear

is it gunna be a forged engine dude ? what turbo are you going to be using - if its stock obv the pistons are gunna produce a higher cr so you would be better with a 1.4mm or if you are using forged low comp pistons then you will be better with a 1.2mm all depending on turbo/boost/pistons edit: just seen your saying 1.4bar so is that gunna be on aforged engine then ??

In my never ending ep battle i have always wanted to have a good allrounder power/looks etc, the next pieces to the exterior puzzle are here albeit not painted or bolted on - but the are placed on for the time being. i also have a set of livesports sideskirts that need painting and fitting and some hrf rear spats too !! let me know what you think of the items so far - they are HRF front bumper which i got because i like the look and its rare - i didnt want mine to look the same as a few others and also the bonnet which i think is a JAM item but i'm not 100% sure both will be painted white though also hunting for some special wheels to set it right off and waiting to get my hands on a vf35 next week wen i get paid to run at full whack Oh and thats my fez bomb ST parked next to it which i got while i finish the V ill put some piks up of that when its clean its 58 plate/spec with 7500 miles on it also can anyone guess whats under the tarporline ?? one for the irsh lads !! Ed

fuckin hell man thats shit i have a forged rod at home the same as that sat on my mantle piece caused by oil moving away from the pick up (oil pressure) i thought fuck it and built a forged 5e but i still got a baffled sump made which i think will hopefully prevent that from happening again maybe you should think about it here is one my mate made !!

the arp 2000 bolts normally come with forged rods dude

if you get some bigger cams and a larger diameter exhaust youll be laughing mate standard cams run out of puff around the 320 bhp mark so considering that you dint do half bad !!!
