  1. Very interesting read =] Just to sum up, is there anything else i would with this setup to be running 180 mark? Catback Mani Decat Hks filter Rx7 tmic Emanage Blue hks actuator/fcd/uprated fueling? With these mods and a good map, will i be running around 180?
  2. Weston super mare my friend =] My glanza is my first jap car too and just like yours, it was completely standard! I've also noticed a price increase in modding them! ha, one of the cheapest sets of coilovers i've found have been 500/600 notes! Used to be able to deck a vauxhall all around for 300 quid =] So all depends on how much you can afford really dude =] I may have some wheels for sale soon if your interested, your local too so i can pop them over. Here's my build thread to give you an idea. http://www.ukstarletclub.com/forums/index....showtopic=23914 Welcome to uksc!
  3. This is coming on very well mate! Flicking from the first pic of when you bought it and comparing it to now is crazy! Good work mate, Keep it up. P.s, front lip please? ;p

  5. Thanks chaps Yea, she handles ten times better than before sparky =] Few more snaps
  6. nice one mate, notice any difference? i'm playing with the idea of doing mine but i like my aircon ;p
  7. gutted for you mate, Expect it'll be less hassle to source a new wing to be honest.. unless you can remove the dent and prep it up before spray yourself to save pennies. Body shop will charge you a fair bit to remove the dent and smooth it all out.
  8. ahhh man, i remember the first time i drove my glanza! the grin on my face was incredible, wish i had the feeling of driving it for the first time everyday =[
  9. Haha, it wasn't just you Jack, I had all the lads thinking I was going to pick up a black vts. Wanted to suprise you all =] Didnt think you were going to stop over at mine on your way home from town to investigate though! haha
  10. Got home from work on Saturday to find a parcel, which contained these =] Couldn't resist but go out and fit them in the dark and damp later that evening. Pretty simple really, the manual that came with the hid's made it seem so complicated so scrap that if anyone else has a set waiting to be fitted. Still havent got around to cleaning the car, but do have some new shots for you with the suspension fitted, HID's & cheeky decal. The rear isn't as low as i would have liked it but seems to be a common thing on these. Having the back fairly stripped also won't help the ca
  11. Excellent mate, Good to see you've posted this to help others. What alarm is this you have installed though? I'm looking at going aftermarket? any you can recommend..
  12. I've bantered with a yellow cupra R from standstill, My glanza actually got one car length ahead untill about 70mph. Seems to be routine against bigger engined turbo cars. Just the other day on a private road, I played with a 200sx 2.0 turbo on two occasions. held him all the way up to 90 then he began to pull past pretty hard to be honest. second time, was rolling in 2nd and like the cupra, i got a good car length ahead untill later on in the gears. i imagine 200sx are dead heavy though. I reckon your glanza would fair well against your mates cupra. Obviously the 200sx/Cupra driver may not
  13. Ahh that's shit mate, Things will get better though.. This time of your is definitely gf season. Summer = single life =]
  14. Excellent mate, did you leave the old chrome bulb covers in the headlight? I must be crazy because i got a big blue waterproof sheet and fitted mine in the pissing down 30 minutes ago lol =] Will get some pics up later. Also, could you take a pic or two to show where you mounted your ballasts? i got a bit impatient out in the cold & wet!
  15. Nice one japmaniac, all about personal preference mate. Will be quicking than the N/a anyway. Sound very nice indeed, Dont understand why they are group 20 on insurance when there as slow as they are though :S
  16. Glanza v, 36.00 to fill her up on super unleaded. Last me just short of two weeks, mixed driven everyday =]
  17. Yea badass i believe it is. dont mention it mate, i'm sure i'll ask you for a favour in the future =]. I dont think there is a way that the hi/lo boost button will do anything now you've de-restricted it. I think your pretty safe as far as your gearbox and other components go mate. If i remember correctly, the Starlet GT has the same gearbox and definately the same engine but it never had the restriction =] The GT's would have had been restricted if it was an issue. As far as tiger seal goes, this stuff is amazingly strong, You certainly wont have any issues with it 'falling off' and
  18. But think of all the down force! it'll rip it straight off! hahha joke mate. wanna see some pics when your done =] p.s ky, did you sort the 1st & 2nd restriction mate?
  19. Same colour, same wheels, same sticker. i reckon your copying my thread mate! joking! Exhaust looks tidy mate, i use a custom exhaust company here called 'infinity', Custom ftw =]
  20. Awesome read mate, Your S and my V are pretty similar lol, I even have that same sticker on the back window but on angle in the corner! weird! Looking tidy mate =]
