Thats the thing... its not I unfortunately snapped a crankshaft cap so its currently being rebuilt. All the years of abuse and probably overrevving on the dyno that caused it to fail. Why would you do that after everything youve done to get to this stage? It seem sluggish off the line but picked up really well once it got going. Support its greatly appreciated Malc!

Hello all, Im sure some of you may know me already but for those who dont, i'm Iain and the owner of C.R Developments UK (name soon to change) and CRD has been around since 2009. The reason why i havent used this forum in quite sometime... was because i originally applied to be a trader on the previous forum (uksc). Im glad i noticed this post, i was actually considoring applying to be a trader within this forum when i decided to check up on any previous feedback within this forum as im hardly on it. Craig paid me in full of £250 and i explained it could be potentially another £250 (issue dependant) to strip the engine back out and try to locate the problem, he must have his wires crossed somewhere. I should have the invoice lying around also which i will dig out.

I am Iain@CRD and i would just like to set the record straight. First off the job price was £250 including Labour and ALL PARTS to replace the headgasket and waterpump. I never opted for a quick flip or to make a quick buck on this job or any job, i went to the full extent of stripping the engine out (which i normally charge £150 out, £150 in for) so i can assist a fellow member on getting there car on the road to enjoy. Colin i dont run an external wastegate buddy. The kit i used was the WEPR kit with and its the Evolution Mani that he supplys. The first runner is going under second runner mate.
