does anyone know if silk photography are going to be at this meet
-
looking good bud keep up the good work, not sure on the rear splitter though bud

make sure you get some 54.1 spiggot rings or your wheels will fall off
-
but if you have the choise with 37 and 43 go 43 because you can always use 3mm spacers
-
it is the offset but go for et43 or you will have rubbing problems, i have et40 on mine and that is the correct offset for a starlet. the lower the et number the more the wheel sticks out from the arch
-
the easyest way to explain it is if you turn the wheel round so yu would be looking at the side where the tyre goes, if you drew a line down the centr of the wheel that would be et0. all the et is is how far the centre of the wheel where the hub mounts has been removed from the back, e.g et43 means 43mm has been removed form the centre line in the rim. its bloody hard to explain on the internet lol

go for the et 43 bud

also put the car in 3rd with the handbrake all the way up, find the biting point with a about 2500 revs and that will check for big end bearings, if there is any sort of knocking avoid. is the car on ebay or anything if so pm me and i will look over what he says about the car for you. curt

hi there welcome to the club, there pretty reliable as long as they have been looked after. look out for while smoke on boost as that will say the turbo seals are knackered, is the car standard or modded? if it has been modded watch out for chimps that don't know what they are doing, for instance winding the boost up without fueling and management mods. hope this helps curt

Glanza Exhaust----n/a Exhaust The Same?
Curtis replied to myatt!!!'s topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
if there is a turbo engine in your car you should get a glanza exhaust as the cat is in the downpipe and on the na the cat is underneeth, the glanza exhaust should go straight on if all the flanges havn't been messed around with. if its just going on for the mot just get a second hand good condition on if not you will just be wasting your money. i don't really know how much it would be new but i could imagine it would be expensive -

Curtis replied to myatt!!!'s topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
because upto 1992 engine you don't need a cat, if you have a cat but a hks exhaust system you should be fine, you should just get a pre mot check if its due to run out soon just so you know if youneed o spend cash on a na exhaust -
i had a blitz nur spec on my old na that was nice, i have one on my glanza aswel and it fits the cutout well
-
welcome to the club bud, hope you enjoy your stay, you should def get some pics up of your car
