no there are no holes behind them bud, the best way to get them off is to get the hairdryer on them an peal them off slowly so you dont peal the laquer, get some meguires bug and tar remover on the glue and with a bit of elbow greese it should all come off

some of the rx7's are classed as 1.3's on tax but our lovely government (useless wankers) have picked up on this and the ones being imported now are classed as 2.6
it sounds like you may have done the big ends. it will be spitting oil out the filler cap because the block is pressurizing, is there lots of air blowing out the oil breather
