  1. Steering is different from those in Uk starlets
  2. So when it comes to rear strut braces aftermarket is the way to go right?
  3. Do I have to jack up the car to fit? Do I have to support the suspensions or something of the sort? Or is it just unscrewing 2/3 screws and screwing them back in?
  4. Yeah, it's only got 60,000kms.....pics don't do it justice really....very clean car. Plans for it are Remix front bumper , glanza rear bumper.....maybe glanza sideskirts but these have to be modified because it's a 5dr Performance mods....nothing much strut braces basically It's the basicest (if that word even exists lol) starlet in the world ;)
  5. Comments and criticisms are welcome by the way Mods which are purchased but still to be installed: Induction kit NGK Iridium Spark plugs
  6. So I have been signed up to this forum for quite a while, but never got round to taking seom decent pics of my EP. It is 100% standard and still with steel wheels. Some specifications: Engine - 2E Gearbox - 4spd (1,2,3,4 + R) Extras - None Modifications done up till now: Glanza Spoiler Sound system 14" alloys TRD tyre valves Stickers TRD Gear knob
  7. http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/p_G_1998_TOYO...AHKRS_4504.html it's the two spoke one
  8. Mine is a 2 spoke wheel ....will get a pic up in 5mins
  9. The Glanza steering is not really the one I would want to go for. Most starlets here were imported (2nd hand) from Japan and for some reason or another have very similar ones. Mine is different (similar to the pic in link below - pic off google). LINK
  10. Hi again I really have to start a thread about my ep. Anyway, I am thinking of changing my steering wheel. I don't really like teh after market ones as I think they don't give that OEM feel. Is it possible to fit yaris sport steering wheels (or from other toyota models). If it is possible does one have to make modifications or is it simply a straight swap? My car is a 1998 Ep91 n/a without airbag.
  11. Did the Splitter take a lot of modifying to fit? or was it a simple DIY job?
  12. Thanks mate...will keep you updated
  13. How is the gear gaiter replaced? Do you need to remove the plastic trim or can it be done without removing it? Also if the plastic trim needs to be removed, how is it removed?
  14. When I got my car I only had 2 speakers at the back and so had to do the same job. Very easy to do, only a 10mins job. Just wire up the speakers as per diagram provided by manufacturer, then take out the headunit, the wires have to go into the iso connector. This is 99.99% of the times labelled. If not it is colour coded. Taking out the headunit: You have to take out the surround part of the dash. This is done by taking out two screws which are easily accessible if you look at it from underneath.
  15. Thanks mate So ep82 and glanza strut braces are the same?
  16. Hi Will both glanza and starlet GT strut bars fit an n/a?? Also is it a straight fit 100% straight forward or would I have to buy additional stuff (mounts etc).....my shocks, springs etc etc are all standard
  17. Glanza spoiler/tailgate and rear bumper fit without any modification. Glanza bonnet, headlights and bumper need to changed done all at once. Almost any part designed for glanza will fit starlet. What engine does your ep91 have? Is it the fuel injected 4efe or the carburator 2e?
  18. That's not a TTE or laguna splitter eh? What is it?
