right, finally got around to stripping the original (nakered headgasket after 5 weeks and other problems after another 5 weeks after fixing headgasket) engine as i suspected, it was ringland failure. but also found another bombshell waiting to explode! two of the conrod bearings had worn through to copper also im only in need of the head at the moment but im hoping to build the bottom end in the future forged baby! literally going all out and aiming at a dry sump system eventually (in the not so distant future) anyhow because we all like pics, here are some not the warmest

definitely check the mani! mine was out 1.5mm form centre to either end, and yes it made a whistling noise

there is so much to do to these little engines, but unless your willing to go custom on a few parts and spend literally thousands upon thousands, then engine transplant is the way to go and even with all the thousands spent, you'll be lucky to see 120-130bhp with mapping. ive always wanted to see a super charged n/a though, so if your mates got the dollar, definitely suggest that to him ;) lol oh and this was the list: N/A Performance List Engine: 5EFHE cams (not 5EFE) Lightened pulley sets Head skim for compression Ported head Valve springs (there are some uprated valves springs for

the only people who have the solution are james and tara. the only way they can give solutions is to allow people who need them to contact them, via this thread or pm everyone needs to stop commenting before this thread gets locked, making it more difficult for the people who need solutions, to get them hence why peoples comments are being hidden to keep the thread clean as possible. ill give it 10 minutes then ill go back through these all and hide them all aswell

most locksmiths and general handy places will do them. all the places you'd get house keys recut can cut you a new one fella

yeah 92 for cats matey also you said its an n/a? there are no off the shelf n/a exhausts that i know of bud. you'll have to get a custom one made unless your just looking for a standard replacement part?
