just in from it. 13,000ft tandem dive. it was truly terrifying. i wasnt nervous all day until he just leans u out and shoves off without any warning and blind panic set in! but it is one hell of an adrenalin rush!!!! i recommend it!!!! truly amazing! really glad i did it and i'll hopefully do it next yr again too! I've been in contact with my mate about gettin it fixed already, im thinkin that when it goes to Jays for 2-3 weeks that'll be the perfect time to take it off and get her fixed because it can sit in Jay's on any old wheel. i aint really bothered about complainin to the guy tbh, i NEEDED it fixed today because i a long drive to a charity skydive tomorrow so i NEED the car period! im really annoyed that my perfect Rays alloy is damaged, but at the same time i aint missin out on this dive! no way! i had nowhere else to take it and it was a gamble,one that will cost me £50 but at least its useable. picked up a nail in the drivers rear, and now have a nice big chip out of the paint on the rim of the wheel thanks to the f*ckin trye machine. couldnt get up to my regular tyre lads so had to find someone local to the new house. not amused at all. its not major, certainly not as bad as the damage parcel force did originally, but we all know Phil's feelings on paint damage to his wheels! thankfully i know where to get it fixed now but that'll have to wait until the winter when i take the wheels off. pure. aids. tyre machines = gay. nails = fail! that IS tidy! theres nowhere else to run them! besides, i only threw it in out of boredom one night, once the FTE goes in it will get redone so no point being too fussy just now. Phil.

its just misbehaving and there is absolutely NO call for it! in the words of Tim Westwood - Its BANG out of order! mark was driving home a few days ago when all of a sudden the car lost all its grunt, it was still running, but it had no get-up-and-go. we took the exhuast off to find a massive hole which is fair enough as its the original exhaust. so, we replaced it with an SPS decat and a much better condition exhaust from Jay. finally got it all done tonight, took it a tet drive and its slower than my N/a - seriously. the car runs but its dead and theres no boost kickin in at all. there's boost pressure alright as u can see the needle move in the cluster, and she dumps when u come off the gas, but the boost doesnt come in at all and its slower than my car. we have checked everything over, the exhaust isnt blowing, there was a slight blow from the join between the decat and the exhaust but thats no biggy and is easily solved with Gum Gum, all hoses are connected correctly, all vacuums are connected, all sensors and plugs appear connected ok - yet its still running as it did before the exhaust and decat swap. What. The. F*ck! phoned Jay and even he is stumped. i dont think its anything overly sinister as there is no blue or white smoke from the exhaust, all the fluids are at the correct levels, so im thinking its something STUPID! the fact that all the power just died mid-drive when it had been fine just seconds before would make me think a popped vacuum line or a blown fuse - but as im new to turbo EPs its just baffling us. the car hasnt run in 3 or 4 days and mark needs it, but we're concerned about driving it like this incase theres damage being done. What! The! F*CK! someone - please please please help! Phil. Phil.

Update ok then, yesterday i recieved a box from mr Idress containing some sexy TRD engine mounts for the conversion, and a set of glanza rear inner arches to try to tidy up the mess of the N/a ones. excellent service from Iddy as always! not very excitin but gives an idea of the glanza arch liners - and yes, the car is ROTTEN with dirt and bugs! shut it. Earthin Kit from John Egan - he told me it was one of Dane's kits, but after having a look on TGTT im 99% certain its a tuning Developments kit, its identical mark's car is a wanker-car! period! and he agrees! i aint even gonna talk about it further thats how fucked off we are. no, no guide marks on the car that im aware of. u'll see two plastic stip things with the spoiler, keith sent them with mine. the bodyshop uses those to line up the spoiler and get the positioning for the holes to be drilled. Phil.
