HRF spats arrived today from SiKillaMart! they are immense! thats all the parts ready for the car to go back to the bodyshop. should be end of february hopefully. Spoke to mechanic about fitting my harness properly as he rallys in his spare time, gonna hold off and get one for the passenger side and have both done at once as they can be a bit of a bitch to do because u have to weld on plates etc etc etc blah blah blah. spoke with Jay, he has laid out a rough game plan for when the swap time comes. I then spoke with WeeJohn who has kindly agreed to do the necessary wiring modifications to make it all go zoom, so he's primed and ready to roll too. my room looks like a bloody EP Parts department right now! Volks wheels, Rays nuts, rear ARB, front lower cusco, your Fender bars, 6point harness, Glanza wiring, turbo timer, catch can, wind deflectors, spats, paint, its all getting out of hand here really! Phil.

no harm but to make a statement like "They are made so so cheaply with poor construction methods.. " would lead me to believe that u have some sort of understanding as to the manufacturing methods of various alloy wheel companys FROM A ENGINEERING PERSPECTIVE. simply stating "they are made shite" is by no means conclusive evidence of said manufacturing, its just u typing those letters in that order on your keyboard. u are entitled to not like them as much as anyone else is entitled to like them, thats an opinion based on what u have read elsewhere, saying u dont like them as you BELIEVE they are made shite is not an opinion u have formed justly. u and i have never had a problem with one another fishy, but if your gonna make a statement like "They are made so so cheaply with poor construction methods.. " then please be prepared to back such a statement up. have u OWNED both Rota AND Rays/Advans that u can make a direct comparison urself? have u conducted any form of research from an engineering point of view based on strengths and weaknesses of various alloy metals and the inherent flaws of various methods of manufacturing?? u say that if they hit a kerb they will disinterate because they are poorly made, but that a Jap wheel will not. have u tested this to see if it is infact TRUE? or is it again an ignorantly formed 'opinion'? what would u say of Italian wheels then?? would u say if i hit a kerb in a Momo the wheel would break as its not jap? i hit a kerb in a 5 spoke speedline and the wheel was fine, the kerb fractured. So, i HAVE tested a Speedline, i CAN make such a statement. wheels are not designed to stand up to kerbs? where would the crumple zone be? transfered to the occupants is where the force of impact would end up. At the end of the day, if u expose an item to a force that it was not designed to be exposed to then of course it will distort in some form. Ronaldo's 599 Ferrari disintegrated when it hit a wall and one wheel ended up 200m up the road, you cant possibly tell me that that therefore means that the wishbone and front suspension of the car was made shit because it failed can u?? its the same bloody thing simply extrapolated up. Ferraris aren't designed to hit walls, when they do they fail, wheels arent designed to hit concrete, when they do the concrete wins. If u can provide some scientific experiment based HARD EVIDENCE based on a hypothesis and null-hypothesis that show me that Rota's are inherenetly LESS STRONG and thereby more danagerous than a JDM wheel then i will believe everything u have stated about Rotas with no question. simply making a statement based on an opinion u have formed based on internet chat and biased images of broken rotas proves nothing. why hasnt anyone shown us images of rotas that have stood strong after an accident?? because that would lend credence to the opposing argument. Biased images of broken rotas that contain NO information on the circumstances of their failure are proof of nothing. Im not pickin an argument with anyone here, so Fishy dont think i'm tryin to gode u into an argument, that is not my intention. Im askin u to back up wot u have said with FACT. Phil.

ummmmm no not really. as has been stated numerous times, the ladies can feel free to start their own thred showing off their men. Plus, its in the NWS - Naughty Corner section of the site, topics in this section should be expected to be a little fiesty, people know to avoid this section if they dont like such topics, thats y we keep them in here so as people are not forced to read them if they do not wish. its harmless banter and if anything inappropraite were posted we the admin staff would remove it. We appreciate your concern but so far no other females have raised a complaint and no one is forcing anyone else to view the thread. Phil.

I know some members of UKSC dabble in the writing, recording and production of their owns tunes (MJ, Dub7, Geo, Jules and even the Badger), so feel free too share them with us in here. Phil.

Ryno....i almost had a stroke laughin at that! im well under the thumb, i'd need to ask permission for a fully clothed pic incase it "makes her look not hott" or some woman mumbo jumbo, and there aint no way i'd post a nuddy pic, too many UKSCNI folk have met Mrs Badger! I may have one or two hott-lookin ones tho, i'll look. Phil.

no, its a Room Bar or Floor Bar. Its essentially a B-Pillar bar (same idea as a C-Pillar bar), its designed to reduce the flex of the car. its got nothing to do with harnesses, altho i guess if u cot harnesses with loops at the end u could attach them to that. Phil.
-

of course u could always do the sensible thing and u know....NOT hit the bloody kerb in which case Rotas would be just as safe as anything chuffin else. so that argument fails right there. i priced the Auto X's with Toby a while back and they worked out alot dearer than wot SiCaln paid for his Weds. Fair enough new for new they are cheaper, thats the whole point. Of course by that same token then people only buy Epiphones because they cant afford Gibsons, LTDs because they cant afford custom ESPs and RELATIVELY nippy little jap hatchbacks because they cant afford cars with real performance like a Ferrai or a Lambo or a new GTR, same argument when u think about it and still as meaningless. Phil.
