there's two differnet sizes back there, the big ones are type 501 bulbs, and the wee ones are type 286 wedge bulbs. the led bulbs like to melt the copper trackin of the circuit tho after about 30 seconds. my advice unless u are a handy sparky is to not bother because i have ruined 3clusters by tryin to do this mod! good luck with it dude! Update: Before JAE: Mark customed re-wired the cluster so it now all light sup blue baby (some shockin short circuitin and resistance work goin on back there now lol) At JAE i bought an interior version of the script i lost from my windscreen decal so that'll fix that! also bought some nice blue samco hosin which has been fitted, still some more to do tho, want to do the throttle cable. also bought a black leather toyota stearin wheel from Nath (same as the one i had in it) which he also fitted for me, its so damn tasty! Since JAE: well the thermostat has been reading off the scale since before we boarded the boat on the way TO JAE but the engine isnt over heatin some if anyone knows wots goin on there please let me know! Mark's sexy flagship sony headunit didnt like my car so I've borrowed one off fogdog for now til i get somethin new and blue! Mark is also workin in my boot...all will be revealed in due course. The panhard rod is NOT happy on the car! it was fine until i got home at which point it started markin strange knockin noises, so we had it tightened up like fook as much as possible (and also adjusted it about 1/8th inch to hopefully line up the wheels a bit better (we think, laser alignement can wait for a complete handling set up in the future). thought this had sorted it but im not convinced, i can still hear soome knockin today but not sure if its that again or not. seems the nylon bush doesnt like the bolt and its comin a bit loose or somethin like that, not 100% but the noise off it was horrendous! pppl 10fet from the car could hear it! Pics to follow asap. oh....and i no longer want Advans, after seein a blue and black set in BAD condition at JAE i realised i may never find a perfect condition set in the size/colour/offset etc etc that i want so I've changed my mind again but the 17s have been taken away to hopefully be sold to pay for the new wheels i want. First of all i have to thank my brother Mark for all the immense help in makin this years JAE possible for me again, he totally custom wired my cluster so it now all lights up, he helped with the cleanin and packin, fitted the cd player, rebuilt the passenger seat subframe, navigated and handed me food on the road! legend bro thank you! he also was a buffer between me and nath because dear Lord that guy is NUTS!!!!!! dont worry nath its just man love! I must also say HUGE thanks to Nath! the man put us up, fed us and watered us...and sold me things i cant afford..and took us to the local cruise where we accosted a random starlet owner! AND he made us coffee at 5am before our trip home! and his wife...words cannot describe how awesomely nice Alex is! and as a rep for UKSC there is no1 to compare, he jumper out infront of EVERY starlet he saw and found the owners of most of the static ones and persuaded more than a few to come and join our pitch! he was the heart and soul of UKSC at JAE 07 and totally helped make my weekend amazin! so thanks bro! and then there is Rob Bower and his amazin Mrs Amy...100% genuinley awesome people, again, without them that rain would have erroded my soul! and Rob's cookin, swet Heavens my girlfriend now refuses to make me burgers because she says they'll never be as good as Robs! without doubt the most sexual burgers I've ever encountered!!! and as for that rum....well, of u didnt try some of rob's rum u wont understand! thanks guys for everything! streetracer totally saved the day on saturday with the banners and gazeebo! thank feck u came through for us dude!!! nice one!
