Cheers Idree's mate! @G yeah man im totally baffled! Upon looking at the car in direct sunlight yesterday i have discovered that she is scored all across the bonnet and roof, and down the passenger rear wing. Now bearin in mind he bonnet and passenegr side were resprayed 3months ago im not very bloody happy. However its a fairly safe bet that its been caused by stones in the sponges - bastards!!!! So i suspect a full top to bottom polish is in order to remove (well cover) the worst of it, so multiple coats of polish are now in order. Which i dont have time to do today before i leave for du

I noticed a pleasant change when i fitted the k&n panel, i agree with wot Rich ecks and Joz say here, its not gonna give lots of bbhp or anything but it does make for less annoyin flat spots and slightly greater throttle response. From my experience so far it was a good choice, tho i do have an apexi under my bed to give a nicer note someday. As for insurance, i personally wouldnt bother to declare a panl filter, thats bein WAY WAY to pernickity for me mate, its notloike u'v superglued a turbo onto it or anythin, its just a panel filter. Others of course may disagree, i know some folk do

Rollcage note - my bro rang round insurance companies enquiring if adding this SAFETY feature would help lower insurance any, they ALL responded that they wouldnt touch a car witha rollcage, their reason being that if u fit a rollcage they u must resaonably be expecting to ROLL your car at some point, they dont see it as protection from otherdrivers, they see it as u yourself are expecting to have to employ it, and so they wont insure u! @Joz, very good write up mate, nice work! Phil.
