Cheers dude, the rock in known locally as the polar bear! the thing with the petrol needle...it actually came from Scutch on the cloclks he sent me with the whie dials, he painted them orange for me, but when things didnt work out with the white dias i put the needles on my own clocks. At first the temp guage sat way too high but we sorted that by repositioning the needle and now works 100% perfectly again. Howvever, the petrol needle was sittin 1/4 tank too high, i.e. whenever the tank was full she sat 1/4 of a tank's worth above the 'full' level, and when empty sat at the 1/4 full mark, if your followin. And the needle was also fallin when the igntion was off which they're not meant to do. which all sounded as if (as Rick suggested) the solenoid was on at the wrong position. So, i had the sparky look at it and he thought h had it fixed as is sittin at the 'full' level when full, and was only fallin slightly when the ignition was off, so a happy medium...however no matter how many miles i drive the petrol needle now doesnt move from the 'full' level AT ALL! Totally stuck there, so im fillin the tank up every 100 or so miles to make sure i dont run out! Its gay as fook! At first i thought maybe the weight of the paint was causin the needle to fall when the ignition was off but i dont think its havin any affect at all as the temp and speedo are fine. Does anyone have ANY IDEAS at all?? i think the solenoid may still be in the wrong position but damn im sick of havin to take that dash apart! Phil.

@Streetracer, i know, that fugly bugger foloows my car around everywhere it goes, its a royal pain in the hoop, bang out of order! Phil.

Thanks wings dude! yeah its the non-rev counter ones, im baffled as to wots goin on, i think the solenoid is on wrong, i have a spare from Scutch here that i may try, but if that dunt work i'll drop u a PM mate, thanks for the offer, i really appreciate it, well sound man! Phil.

Alrighty then! Today was the Japheaven meet at Junction one in Antrim. Not a bad turnout, plenty of Jap metal and one Ferrari (show off prick - and im sayin that as a Ferrari fan!!!!)! Weather stayed dry, altho it did get bloody cold and dark pretty quick! Jon44W, Bangorcruise and i assume RMS all had photographers there...but who cares about them UKSC had a photographer there! Far more important! Managed to get a wee mini UKSC 'stand' in the corner! Memeber turnout was Dave (Nordonian - feck me he had me in tears of laughter ALL DAY!), Gerard (whitestarlet), Spuddy (pleasure to meet u for the first time lad! nice one for showin up!), Bilal (the Nissan owner ), starletsolida (Laura. I saw u drive in but didnt see u walkin around so my apologies for not gettin a chance to chat to u, tho i have to say the car looked pretty tidy from wot i saw, nice rims and Glanza rear lenses) and me. I have to give SERIOUS props to Gerard, the man has NO FEAR, he just walked out in front of a random V and a random GTT and TOLD them to park beside us for some photos! Nice work dude! It must be said that the 3 UKSC cars that were parked beside eachother ( Dave Gerard and me) were imacculately turned out, esp given the distance to Junction 1 for all 3 cars! I was very proud to be parked up between those two lads and their motors! Respect guys! Nordonian and Nanglebadger Random nice GTT DROOOOOOLLLLLL the nicest not-a-starlet car of the meet for me, i love these in black! Another random GTT...and look wots in his boot....Dear Santa, for xmas i would like... Whitestarlet, Nordonian and Nanglebadger The random V GERARD!!!!!!!! POSERS!!!!! The random GTT I GOT U IN A PIC DAVE!! I GOT U IN A PIC!!!!!!! All in all it was a damn good day i thought, we chatted about wot we'll try to do different for next time, e.g. gettin all the UKSC cars allocated a spot to keep them all together. Phil.
