Yeah mate, halfords said £60 for the fitting kit, but my dad decided to buy that for me as his little contribution, oh well, paid for now haha. Now to not derail the topic, Find out how much the new gearbox will be, and if it doesn't add up to the price of a new car then you might aswell get it fixed, as far as I'm aware the starlets been in your family for ages? KEEP IT! Shafz.

Ain't tinting the rear window yet, Mum still uses it and isn't exactly the best at reversing... :| The audios all fitted in, subs friggin mental, I've decided I'ma wait till I tint the rear window to get the 6x9's, you know how easily sh*t gets stolen in the rougher areas of London :| Heres the pics.. Rear bumper off for respray: Rims: Yes I know they're ripspeed, but they're simple 5 spokes and were going cheap as they're discontinued (works out at £13 PER RIM, because it was up for £230, the cost of the brand new tires on it comes to £178ish, 230-178 then

Nooo! My cars twin's dead Just as I got my alloys too Haha get another starlet mate, seriously, even though 1.6 MK4 golfs ain't bad, they're still group 6, for group 4 I doubt you'd get anything that could really replace your starlet, than another starlet. Shame about the gearbox though bruv, was really lookin forward to our little 5 door meet that'd eventually happen Shafz.

Small Update! Tinted the rear windows, to compliment the spoiler, gonna get the rear bumper resprayed today, and hopefully cut and honeycomb mesh the front grille. Shafz.

Hey guys, I'm just wondering how to remove the windows in my starlet (5 door)? Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance. Shafz.

Is it weird that my sportif has central locking? Out of all my mates my sportif is the only one I know with it.. Find a 5 door sportif or a GLS as mentioned above and get the parts, I love the central locking on mine. Shafz.

Been a petrolhead since I could remember, my dads first car was a 1975 MK1 VW Scirocco GLI, Blue, stripped out, got set on fire by chavs though one day, and he's had some pretty cool cars since then but the person who REALLY got me into cars was my uncle, he was a used car dealer and a mechanic, so when I was younger I would be seen in E34 535i's, 735i's, Jag XJS's, 318i/320i E30's, 325i E36 Convertibles, 328i //MTec Coupes, a 1976 450SL Merc (now in California as him and his friends built it but a Californian bought it and now its in a Museum), two rolls royce silver shadows etc, he was car m

H** TEF Was it you parked up? Frickin' mint car mate, had I think a tom's front bumper, side skirt, rear spats, was parked up on the corner. Shafz.

I bought some of that golf GTI/Kamei style honeycomb black mesh off eBay for £12 excluding P&P so I'm gonna use that. Yours is looking perfect though, one of the best looking N/As out there (non converted). Shafz.
-
Haha the front of my cars gonna be basically the same as yours, except I'm honeycomb meshing the grille, not sure what you're doing? And what size are the square plates on yours? Mine has my sisters private plate on it atm as its being retained after her accident, so when I get my plates back I want square ones. Shafz.

6P3 mate Shafz.

My funds are tight atm, its cheaper to maintain a starlet than a girl! haha, Birthday next month though so I'm expecting some stuff for it then from mates and family. Shafz.

Yeah I'm driving around now pointlessly just banging out tunes, or finding excuses to drive places, even to the local off license around the corner! The subs pretty good, my boot doesnt close flush on the right hand side because of it though. Yeah I'm gonna lower it and do wheels soonish but my aim now is to cut the grille like Amjad786 has and black honeycomb mesh it with a TTE badge, and cupraR splitter. Then it'll go rear bumper respray, exhaust, rims, lowering, tints are definitely happening in april though. Shafz.
-
Yeah mate the only reason I kept it black is because on a sportif, the wing mirrors and doorhandles are black, the front splitter'll be black, the grille will be black, and the tinted windows and wheels would be black, so the overall theme would be dark green and black, which go well together IMO. Shafz.

Small Update.. Its On! Shafz.

Not me personally but me and my dad drove from South West London, to Leeds to view a 325i, bought it but as we had to wait for payment to clear, drove back, then 2 weeks later took a plane back up to Bradford/Leeds intl. Airport, then 3 buses to the sellers place, bought the car and then the 230mile journey back, luckily it was an incredibly quick one (J26/27 of the M1 IIRC, outside Nottingham was closed) as everyone was diverted through, we found the quickest route back on, to a clear junction 25, as in us and 2 other cars on it, hammered it. Fastest I've been passengering in a car, just wish

Welcome to the club, amazing glanzas and toyotas in Jamaica as far as I can see. By the way the pictures of your dads car are of an evo 7 not 9.. Glanza builds looking good, I'm sure you'll enjoy it here. Shafz.

Yeah, I've been in starlets since 1997, My aunt had a brand new then Reflet, then in 1999 my mum bought the sportif you see here now, must be an asian thing.. The exhaust is a 3" Backbox from Turborevs (£40 Delivered) then I'm going to a local exhaust shop to get it fitted so I'm not sure how much it'd cost yet, because its a universal backbox and they don't fit starlets so extra pipe has to be welded on. Shafz.

Got the sub and headunit today, expensive day for me but its all good.. Also a pic of the induction kit fitted. Shafz.
