Ok its been like 3 months so I'm sure I can double post! Had to sell my "old" car because of running costs so I'm back in the starlet! Gonna do all the little mods I wanna do to it before I can get insured on my other project car. So looks like as with a lot of people who leave the starlet scene.. I'm back! Shafz.

Yup GT TDI 115.. haha, I love it sooo much but as I'm 17... no cigar on insurance haha its nuts! Driven it once and it felt so nice, not as quick as the civic surprisingly and doesn't rev anywhere near as high obviously, but its a nice one. Yeah the starlets so agile, especially 3pt turns and stuff, its turning radius compared to the civics and stuff, and I can thrash it and get 1.5x the MPG the civic got! atm the list of priorities goes: Grille, rear shocks, and then rear speakers. Shafz.

I stole the idea for my new car from you.. no it's not a GT.. but it has GT in the name and on the boot So yeah my starlets my baby again.. I missed it you know, its so agile its crazy! Basically I've got my N/A back now after selling my replacement for it (us starlet owners always come back eh) and I've decided to install a custom black honeycomb mesh grille in place of the standard grille like Amjad has done with his N/A, and was wondering how to fasten/attach it onto the bumper and where? Its one of the main aesthetic mods I'm doing to my N/A and want to really get it over and done with, any helps appreciated! Shafz.

I'm 17 and I'm on my 3rd car now so I might stick to the civic for a bit.. I still want an IS200 badly but can only get insured at 19 and apparently they're slower than my civic but as an overall car... wow Shafz.

Diesel cars do well on the track.. Audi R10 TDI anyone? and your golf'd probably be faster than my civic.. downhill Haha we gotta get a meet going. Amjad I got a quote on an MK4 GT TDI 110, and it came to £300 more a year than the civic.. I can manage it but is it worth it? Shafz.

I gotta admit I didn't pay for my Starlet, it was given to me, I didn't pay for the insurance, but I paid for all the mods, running costs, petrol, road tax, maintenance etc, then I just bought myself a Civic with my money, I'm paying half the insurance now, its my car, and I feel much better for it, knowing that I've earnt it, I DESERVE it, I treat it with respect, I treated the starlet with respect but as with everything in this world, when its earned and its your responsibility, you try your hardest to maintain and respect it.
