if its just coming in and then levelling off, then its easy once mapped.. mine creeps on initial spool, but once wastegate opens holds boost fine.. let the tuner see it first when mapping mate. good luck for tomorrow, a week till im mapped.

maybe the gain on the boost controller is set too high. does it come in too high and level off higher up revs?

what wastegate spring you running? PSI wise

cool.. im being mapped next week, so should be out after that.. I will get mine a bit quieter with a center box at some point.

good to know liam.. just got to get used to the noise the anti surge housing makes.. with the new air filter set up, it seems quieter in the car on spool and chatter, but been told its loud enough outside.

it should work dude.. im looking at quieting my exhaust down.. when you out next?

right update time and pictures.. The stock td05 had blown its oil seals.. so I got a td05-18g hybrid.. first blown seals of td05 in case people need to know what to look for.. Their was oil coming out of the v-band that joins the exhaust and central cartridge, not a good initial sign, hence why I investigated further.. Oil and old Oil marks on lip of exhaust housing.. see Oil patch clearer here. So I went and thought about it.. Danny-baby offerd me a good deal on an 18g hybrid, so I though I may as well try get few more bhp or at least the same at a lower boost pressure.. So I went and collected this (thanks dan). Stock td05 on your left, 18g hybrid on the right. so on to mock fitting turbo on car.. rotated housing, whilst their couldn't resist a look at comp wheel.. turbo kit fully together.. see how close inlet is the PAS pump.. Air filter pipe fitted, tight squeeze Finally out of garage.. these were taken just after first test drive.. Booked in for mapping next week..

The old td05 was leaking oil into exhaust housing on full boost.. Cruising just leaked a little. So got white smoke out of exhaust. Ive got a 18g hybrid from dan who was selling. Turbo is huge compared to a stock 16g. I update my thread once fitted next wk.

air filter.. the shit that goes into the engine will wear your rings out faster.

thanks tazzy.. right I whipped downpipe off today, and nothing too bad.. i have jus bought danny-baby td05 18g hybrid.. so today after downpipe was off i took whole turbo kit off to investigate my white smoke issue.. one turbo was off it became clear..(pictures will be uploaded tomorrow).. oil stains, and fresh oil was around the bottom of clip that holds exhaust housing to turbo, and once took that off, the exhaust blades had oil at the back of them, and the inner cartridge had oil a 3rd of way round the circumference of turbo covered in oil.. looks like the upgrade to the 8g hybrid may have come in time. just need to sort some air filter pipe out, as the zisco kit sits flush with PAS pump, altho their is some room to fit a silicone joiner in, so got test that out.. also need to fit exhaust housing studs, then its away i go..

you running a air filter on turbo?? I noticed in last pics, turbo kit changed again? so not running the screamer out of bonnet?
