Turbo gone again. Cant work it out !! Could this be actuator problem ?

Size M 8 bolts will fit Most guys use washers to build up the hight Just remember the more washers , the longer the bolts will need to be. Place the washers between the bonnet and the hinge Do not put between the hinge & the car.

Got a thumbs up from a guy in a black ep82 outside my house in Worcester Park Surrey. Reg ended in NVG Then later tonight i spotted a white ep82 with a black / carbon bonnet in Ewell Surrey. Anyone from here ?

It was the advice from all you guys that helped me get it fixed. I also noticed that the wastegate has two small cracks inside I will be taking it easy for a while & keeping an eye out for any leaks (not at the moment) I will be saving my cash for a TD04 setup. Whats the average cost if i go TD04 ?

Swap the hoses back to factory setting & prove them wrong .

Took a while But at least i now know how to do future work on the engine. Now the air con has gone i now have a big space to relocate the air filter. Is it a 40mm elbow that i will need to connect to the turbo ?

Boost is back Car is all back together. Nice new oil & antifreeze Think it was just bad oil Good job i didn't drive it when the boost went, Could of kill the turbo ompletly. Thanks guys for all the advice.

I got the car in october The previous owner said that the oil had only just brrn changed Dont think so as the oil filter was so full of shit Got all new stuff going on Might as well fit my sandwitch plate so i can finaly get my oil pressure gaugr to work. This will need a slight chop to avoid the power steering bracket. Will also be giving the engine bay a good clean while its all in bits. Finally getting the air con off the car ( didn't work anyway) Got the smaller belt from TMD Doing the timing belt as well Cars getting a good well deserved service.

Was doing a decat & porting wastegate anyway. Was shitloads of exhaust carbon in there. Gave it a good clean with Gunk Actuator moves quite easy Got the turbo plades to move quite east too. Will get it all back on the car tomorrow & will be checking all the pipe work Hopefully this will of fixed the problem. I drained all the oil from the sump as im doing a oil change while its in bits noticed the oil was black & very thick Maybe to thick to reach the turbo As kierz stated (oil starvation). Will let you all know the outcome.

Got the turbo off today Blades are still intact but very hard to turn Is this a sign of bearing problems

Im not collecting them This one is in the unit where i work. It still has the hose connected to it & its empty. Not sure on the size , Can find out tomorrow.

Was working fine , Then nothing. No clunking type of noise & no smoke.
