i've drove in mph all my life,so then going to kmh is a little strange,driving along doing maths(converting the kmh to mph) was'nt what i wanted lol,i know it would'nt take long but im used to mph & drive within the a mph limit so wanted my car to read in it. doing it for the purpose of removing it sounds bad to me tbh,who wants to hear of a car being ragged to 100+ mph? i apologise about the discrepancy there as im not sure where the speed cut is?? as i've not been that fast. i know when the converter was fitted as i bought the car when it was reading 100,000 km,i've since fitted the converter & the car now sits at 104,***. That's my last post on the subject now anyway,i'l get on with getting the car sold,thankyou for your input.

if you want something like that in there then look no further than the mi16 lump!! it's a superb engine! untouched it produces 170bhp.

taken all on board apart from the mileage, as that is just splitting hairs in my opinion. 60k,62k or 66k is neither here nor there,as long as it is'nt a 20k discrepancy i dont see a problem. i fitted the mph converter so it would read in miles,i dont like or want it in kmh. horses for courses i suppose as i said,im happy with the site & people on here,the way it's run etc,but as i also mentioned i think it looks amatuer!! if it was a site selling parts & there was spelling mistakes,i would shop elsewhere as i immediatley think some kid that cant spell is running the place. looking proffesional & being correct alway's win's in my eye's just my thought's i'l leave it now as my original question has been answered,thankyou

anymore ideas? is there a cold start sensor? & could it cause the problem im getting? as when i first fire the car up,obviously it idles higher until warm,when it is idling high it is very stable as are the afr's,soon as the idle drops it becomes unstable

all the vac pipes seem to be ok. think i might change them for new though to be sure,any idea what i.d they are? i dont think it's injectors as the problem would still be present when driving? but it's faultless when moving,it's actuall super smooth.

mine does the same! fluctuates about 150rpm & pops from the exhaust like tiny misfires. i've not tried pulling the plug on my icv to see if it changes though.

I changed my turbo earlier for a hybrid & just wondered what the electrical box that's mounted near the drivers headlight does? two vacuum tubes come from it,one going to the air filter & the other T'd in to the turbo/actuator. im guessing one part is for the high/low boost? what does the air filter one do? also are they essential? cheers

there's two of them! 1 was orange & built by europarts in stoke,the other was silver & built in london,often comes up for sale with around an £8k price tag.
