-
i know!! when i bought the car,i was handed the tin of paint & told "spray the manifold again with this as it the 1st coat has burnt off" i dont think so!! wire brush i think!! that's if it stays on,what manifold do i need for a td04 turbo?

Looks like the second one may be what it say's it is?? http://www.ukstarletclub.com/forums/index....ic=19019&hl=

i quite liked it ;) something different! although i see your point in a way as it's not neccesary on a starlet. thanks for your help
-
that makes sense as you could pull the handbrake up to lock the wheels & then when your done just let go & it will just drop down.
-
I drove one with a different set-up to any car i've drove before! instead of pressing the button in & lifting, you have to pull the handbrake up & then pull the button type thing out & then it locks in place. so.... are they all like this?
-
i dont think you should be tuning it yourself if you dont know what the afr should be?? is it turbo? you need different afr's for various amounts of load & boost (if turbo)
-
im not full of info on starlets yet mate so did'nt know that from owning r5 gtt's i know that fitting a cam from a 1.4 campus in to a gt turbo is an improvement, but vice versa would'nt help at all. thought it would be similar with these but obviously not. why dont you get your cam re ground to a better spec?
-
service items such as brake discs brake pads cam belt kit etc etc Thankyou
-
Is there such a front bumper available? i dont like the chopped up look ya see some pics of what if any options there are would be nice
-
it's not all about lift! duration is important, nut as i said before,n/a cams can/do have a longer wilder duration than turbo'd cars,so it would probably be a backward step for you? maybe the starlets are different?

**warning Regarding Glanza On Ph £2750**
Nayls replied to Nayls's topic in Lifestyle General
Have edited the title to make people aware of this car -
yeah i see what you're saying but it does look clean, ignore the power claim, let's say he just said 140hp,it "looks" a clean car & worth £2450 to me,how about you? has sold though,im only hoping it may re-appear if i dont go for the other one i posted 1st.
-
i want modified! the second one looks real tidy but i dont know if i believe the power claim? is that not a standard manifold? it would need an aftermarket one to have a bigger turbo to produce that power would'nt it? im new to these so not sure?
-
what about this one? may have sold, but just incase it goes back on after christmas. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1996-TOYOTA-STARLET-...=item4cec9c2978

what you described sounds like "surging" how much boost are you running?
-
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TOYOTA-STARLET-GLANZ...=item439a7dd7ec I really want a black one! is this a fair price? what would you pay for it?
