and also, when im gently pulling away the car sounds like a tractor at low revs, is this it blowing or the screamer pipe? heard some people say the sound abit dodgy on low revs

did a small bit on the car today heres some pictures of the machine polish and im very happy how it looks now nice and shiny just how i likeit, but i cant wait for a respray now i also gave the engine bay a good clean and degrease, but need to tidy up some wires here is what i used, but forgot to take pictures afterwards after thet fitted my new leather gear gaiter which has freshened up the interior nicely and finally fitted my Splitfire earthing kit today i have moved one of the eather off the rocker cover now tho engine bay is a bit messy and really want a proper wire tuck, so will get that sorted sometime aswell

i had this ages ago and its been fine ever since, just make sure you get the fan working again mate

welcome mate loks a tidy car

well i have decided to go with wms as the work with the abs well and are easy to get hold of

so the tidy up begins i gotsome gunk engine degreaser today and cleaned up the engine bay, looks pretty good but still not happy with it also got a second rocker cover im going to spray, not sure on colour but was thinking a nice metallic gunmetal grey and do my intercooler pipes grey aswell, what do people think to that? also gave the car a full exterior polish then hoses it all of and cleaned it but it started raining so didnt get a chance to put any wax on ;) i also have a new leather gear gaiter to go fit tomorrow as mine is pretty tired and has a small hole in it and have also got a new parcel shelf on the way with OEM toyots speakers and an air purifier so 2more optional extras to add and still trying to find a good company to re-trim the recaros, once they are done and i have some recaro door cards, the interior is complete will add some pictures tomorrow of everything going on

yeah cant afford one this year going for a wms 4pots

not going to order a lsd this year and i have another brake kit instead of the willwoods

price isnt to bad actually

and dan im currently not running a lsd im still deciding weather to have an aftermarket lsd fitted to my new gearbox or to go OEM LSD

yeah im glad i got my exhaust sorted otherwise i would be rebuilding the turbo and it would still smoke

well im wondering if mine got in there from my original engine and turbo failure? so if your loosing oil may still be worth cleaning the exhaust throught as there is probably oil in there

i just cant see where it came from tho lol there was so much in there lol

well as said, i had the new exhaust midsection fitted today and what a difference sounds amazing and feels like a new car to drive! i love it! old midsection off with the old and on with the new 2.5inch straight through system with polybush mounts when the back box was removed we found the hangers with splitting away from the back box and about half a litre of oil and water sitting in the back box here is a tiny amount of what we drained from the back box no idea where is came from but it seems to have cleared my smoking issue but blitz nur spec is pretty battered and i dont like bodging thing so going to get a new back box i love my nur spec so probably going to stick with that but would do people recomend for me? also after i had the exhaust done i treated my self to a new pressure washer
