  2. how do i remove the fcd? can i just literally remove it?
  3. just went for a drive after sorting the mani out there is a slight hissing sound coming from the inlet manifold when i had the new enigne fitted they didnt fit a new inlet mani gasket could this be the cause? it hesitats badly between 3-4krpm and makes full boost just after 4k but still wont dump
  4. wouldbe intrested if they are 5 matts including the onne to cover the gearbox tunnel in the back like the oem mats and will they just be colours like grey or can you do chequered?
  5. Yeah I can clearly here the turbo spool, And naz this feels like fuel cut, I will change the dizzy cap and plugs when my new parts arrive and see what happens
  6. also still running a standard ecu with fcd and standard injectors and fuel pump could it be a fueling issue?
  7. no ebc at the mmoment and i was using no dv until today i fitted a cheap one that i used to run and it workd fine then waiting for a hks one to turn up shorty came round and said my wategate is 100% correct
  8. right, since fitting my K24 turbo setup i havnt been able to get it to bost right when i accelerate the car pulls nicely to 3,000rpm and then it feels like it hits a wall and is really hesitant under boost until about 4.5k then it frees up and boost fine to 0.8bar like it should but when i let off there is only a very very faint chatter and it will not dump for the bov i asked a mechanic and he said it sould like a electriavl problem as it feels like a misfire he has said to change the plugs and dizzy cap which i will be doing this week but surely if it was anything like that i would have my

  11. i wouldnt keep it blocked if you run over 1bar tho i had a dunpavalve then removed it running 0.9bar, now planning to run 1.2bar and the guy who will be mapping my car has to be i must have a dump valve fitted at that boost

  13. why do you need to make a nipple on the inlet mani? is that to run a vac line to the wastegate? as i run a vac line of my throttle body, it was originaly for air con and no using it ont the wastegate and it runs ok

  15. Actually that's a good point, it seems hesitant under boost since fitting the earthing kit
  16. get a sealey one about £90 and have variable speed and are simply awesome! what all bodyshops use

  18. maybe end of project! car is stinking of oil, really hesitant under boost and have oil coming out of the 4th sprak plug going to get a compression test but seems something internal is fucked now!

  20. havnt braced the wastegate yet, going to do it next weekend as it was a total bitch and didnt line up, then i thought i was going to have to take it all off again lol
