Oh good! theres also a toyota 6 disc cd changer linked to the factory radio. If thats worth anything too?
-
I'm sure 'Steve GT' (the Don of optional extra's) will give some info or knowledge on these, i have no idea what they are worth or how rare they are. They came with the car with the harness but the speakers are tatered. Just wondering if they should be binned or for free or worth something? This can be moved to another section

Removed the DV to see how good chatter was now it sounds like i've got a very loud sneezing squirrel under the bonnet! 10x better now than it was when the intake was on. Mesh and chatter FTW

Isn't there a freezing process that involves dipping components in liquid nitrogen making them stronger? I read it in a Redline a guy had a drag spec pulsar he was using 2 gearboxes a season, he got them treated and 1 box lasted over a season! Something to look at EDIT Found a PDF file http://www.nitrofree...ETP3034Cryo.pdf Its cryogenic treatment

It sounds near enough the same as a front mount filter to be honest, no vids as of yet sadly
-
It would be best to get a piece of 90 degree pipe so its forward facing, might do that for the summer
-
Ive still got a full length rad and AC in place though so when its raining it shouldnt get too much water into the turbo but havent you heard of spraying mist into the charged air.....well now i have it for free
-
id be happy to pay for that sticker even if im not going!!

I wondered what it would be like to mesh the turbo as people say do and some say don't, obviously removes all the intake restriction and heated air from the manifold, so off i went to buy myself a £3 sieve then removed the intake, what a ball ache that was!! I see why everyone goes on about removing the aircon to make things easier to work on the whole car as it got in the way a hell of a lot doing this and fitting the mesh. After it was fitted and put back together i took it out and compared to the near standard intake she sounds like a jet! Could be a bit louder. I don't know whether its jus

So decided I will be meshing the turbo tomorrow for the hell of it! Why not hey then maybe fitting the actuator if I have enough time

My spec when i had the NightPager Decat was:- RX7 TMIC Apexi air filter cone 5Zigen cat-back Boost restriction removal And obviously the night pager screamer/decat With this spec it hit fuel cut in high revs It creeped up to 11PSI when the factory cat was still fitted though
-
Tongs hybrids have bigger wastegate pennies and port though dont they? Thought that was a big plus point to getting one as you didnt get boost creep
-
Plus screamer pipes on internally gated turbo's sound absolutely horrible they never seal fully anyway so your wasting your money, just get externally gated like everyone else says
-
I wrapped them and they were really good! then i added yellow bulbs as i bought them before the wrap came. Really help on the roads in poor visibility too!
-
just get a boost guage and keep your eye on it in hight revs and youll be fine for now but will need a HKS adjustable actuator to solve the problem but it will hit fuel cut for sure, mine did
-
Will be fitting that soon Cheers once again for it, so nice to get something new and full of Japanese stickers and instructions makes me feel like a JDM Yo moment
-
I wish i did try them on but i spent up to £590 to get the that point and even then i needed new tires so instead i cut my losses and bought a HKS Actuator which you may know about
-
I love the sound of mine now! mid-pipe's leaking slightly though, maybe an excuse to get something louder
-
Ahhhhh i was wondering if it was but id never seen one! Yeah internal screamer is a bitch to seal properly so maybe going external later on depending on the impulse buys. I sold them as i didnt think it looked good being all white. Wardy90 has got them now
-
NightPager fitting Fitted it on a Saturday and by Monday i bought another decat hahaha without screamer pipe as it was farrrr too loud, so new one fitted i haven't got a screamer on this one thankgod! no idea what make it is but its very good build quality! Sounds a hell of a lot better now rather than my front pipe had fallen off or a watery fart! Had to use the bottom o2 sensor hole as it fouled the slave cylinder so had to extend the wire but no biggie. Also surprised how heavy the standard cat is! its worth decatting it alone for the weight saving
-
Get that decat fitted asap! Makes a hell of a difference to the noise, mine now doesn't sound like a high powered raspy fart!

The only time it threw flames out was when i was on the by pass and hit fuel cut a few times then spat them out obviously you dont want to be doing that everyday or your engine will blow before anything has a chance to catch fire haha. Its pointed at the ground anyway
