You ma be wrong there bud try TOYO Proxes T1-R as they have a lip that will fit the curb first thus stopping the curbing, I have them on my car and it works you have to hit the curb hard or have weird shaped curbs to do it with them on and I still have a brand new set of Proxes T1-R At home the older better ones oh yer think I will put them on soon

i you may need a new plug that just plugs in to what you have you need to rip out your coronet one then have a look! and it depends on what aftermarket CD player you get too as thy all gave different plugs tintin
