Right my HKS uprated actuator arrived from japan today, just a few questions. I have read a few posts in the technical section and have downloaded the how 2 guide to install it, people have said you can set it to 0.8 bar safely without hitting fuel cut, i have a jam fcc can i safely raise it higher or should i wait till after christmas when i will be getting my RRFPR and high flow fuel pump? cheers jon

It depends what other mods you have, if you have a s,s exhaust you will probably need a fuel cut controller as you will probably hit fuel cut straight away. Other than that you just swap your lambaba sensor over from your cat and you are good to go.

You notice the turbo spools up quicker and you get a little bit mor torque, they are deffo worth buying but make sure you get a braced one otherwise you will forever be getting it welded up. Yeah i know what you mean shelly, the Blitz ones are like rocking horse poo to come by lol
-
No it was easy, it only took 5 mins. The hardest part was removing the bottom bracket for old cat which connects to the exhaust, it took ages to loosen the bolts even with my air impact gun, apart from that was very easy. I think it would be the same for the glanza, i am very happy with the quality of the decat had it on since june and it still hasn't cracked.

Do you recognise the picture in my sig shelly? lol
-
It is really good, you can deffo feel a diference with it and you can hear the turbo spool up more as well. Just need a manifold and full system next
-
obviously yours isn't that good as it says 9.02 in his post.

Ha ha yep dont know how to use photoshop, you can see the real thing now lol

It depends on the age of the car mate if it is below 1998 then you only need an mot, but if you go after 1998 you will need to sva test the car and it needs to be standard. You will need to trailer your car to get mot'd then apply for your registration plates once you have it mot'd. You wil only need your insurance documents once your car is mot'd and has plates then you can tax it. Hope this helps

Don't you just love the japanese car community lol people can find out anything about each other. Think everyone should 141 their phones and give him prank calls.
-
Give envy a call Kellie, tell them what car it is for and they will get you the right off set.

Nice looking GT, the wheels are nice but are way too big. You say you are sick of seeing small wheels on starlets do you not think that says something lol 15" is the best combo for small cars.

I have 3G 20 groove and green stuff pads and they are spot on, going to get braided lines soon.
-
Why? Whats the point? Just making it something its not by doin that I am sure there is a lot of other stuff she could do and then it would be equally as nice Just my 2p Because unless she is going for a custom made bodykit, the only thing she could do is either add a gt kit and make it look 100 times better or add alloys and a splitter.

I have put a wiring diagram for the jam fcc on here in the how2 section. And they are adjustable you open it up and there is a little pot you turn to adjust it.

My first mod was a HKS super powerflow induction kit and sard R2D2 bov, i quickly changed the hks for an apexi induction kit.

Hello and welcome to the site, you could turn that into a nice gt replica

Oh i dont know then mate i thought you just wanted to know where the fuses was. I have left mine so it runs constantly, therefore cooling the engine all the time.
-
It is not actually in the fuse board, if you look under the bonnet as you are looking at the car, to the right hand side of the washer bottle under the wing the fuse for the A/C is situated there.
-
The fuse for the a/c is under the bonnet on the passanger side at the front, it has a/c printed on the cover for it so you can't miss it.
-
The same happened to me when i dropped one of my friends off at doncaster train station, a red shit box escort rs turbo look alike chased me and my mate, we stopped and they got out and ran at the car so i drove towards them they sharp got out of the way lol ever since then i always carried an extendable baton in the car incase it happened again! hope they get caught and them and their cars get fucked up.

The buddy club racing condensors are supposed to be proven to give you a few extra bhp, but they are £90. I bought a one from halfrauds for £40 but took it off as it didn't look that good. Didnt notice any difference.

Cheers Si, but it was one of those things that had to be done, i was getting depressed everytime i lifted the bonnet lol. I hate cleaning engines there are too many parts to clean lol
