  8. How would you have to remove your rear pannels phil? do the belts not just bolt to the top and bottom of the b pillar? they do look gas as fuck the bottom of those belts get them swapped for the gt ones then you will be sorted
  9. Good to see progress is back on track mate, will be better than ever when finished. Can you not fit your seatbelts like i have in the ek9? have a look at the pics.
  10. Thanks i might paint it either black to go with the trim or red to match the carpets, yeah i will just slam my seat into their legs if they mark it lol
  11. LMFAO Well my B pillar floor brace arrived today so i thought i may as well fit it, save getting moaned at for more car parts cluttering up the house lol. I was going to paint it as there are a few marks on it, but there is no point as when i have people in the back their feet will only scratch it again.
  12. Yeah the o ring was leaking on 1 of the injectors, i put a bit of silicone on it and it has stopped lol. Yeah you can have the bracket if you want Sparky, just pn me your address and in will send it off to you.
  13. You can have the bracket if you want mate? it is for the ep91 so dont fit the gt.
  14. Hopefully he will make her mint again for you mate. Are you keeping the same colour or are you going for a change? Well she is almost finished  the engine is complete and working, it is idling spot on and the temoerature is good. Got those wank seats in and they still look wank lol. Here are a few pics of the final engine and with the car back together. And just for you phil the one of the toyota blanking plate. Check out the renault megane scenic aif filter pipe i can only get the back 2 bolts in for the intercooler as the new leads are so tall lol
  15. Thanks Phil, i am on my way up my uncles now to do some more on the car so will take some more pics of everything. Looks like i am going to have to put the shitty bucket seats back in as he has chopped the rails off the standard ones  Any news on your car yet mate?
  16. Thanks mate, will check that now. On a plus side i was down the scrap yard this morning as stigs rear sway bar snapped last night on his starlet lol. I was missing the s shaped intake pipe for the gt, i went hunting on all the cars that were there for a replacement and found a perfect match. Guess what car it was from? A renault megene scenic lmfao. Will take some pics later on when i fit it. Also got a double din blanking plate with toyota written on it. The grand total for both was £4
  17. thanks mate, bit pissed off today, got all the vacume hoses and everything on started it up and let it run for a bit. Noticed some petrol leaking from one of the injectors anyone know how i can fix this apart from buying a new injector?
  18. Is that showing 100k on the clocks as the japs run in kms, so 100,000 kms = 60,000 miles. As long as they have been looked after and regually serviced you shoul have no problems with them.
  19. Are you sure the rear fog light is not wired into your rear light cluster? as for the speedo converter have a look at this ebay page for the one you need. It is really easy to do and will only take 5 minutes. speedo converter
  20. I am so happy, after todays japnortheast meet i went back up my uncles to do a bit more on the car. Finished connecting up the Loom, bled the clutch and topped up the fluids. But the battery on the car and tried to start it but it was just clicking, realised i never put the HT lead back on lol connected that up turned the key and it started first time only ran it for a few seconds as i have not connected up the cooling system yet but it was a huge reliefe that it started.
  21. Cheers Si and Phil, i was going to mask all the lines and toyota off and spray them black. But after the paint reacting once i didn't want to risk going through all the hassle if it happened again.
  22. Thanks, i hope he is looking after it and enjoying it i was gutted when he drove away in it. Has he registered on here yet? I was hoping the loom was going to be like that, the only problem i have is reataching some of the sensor wires that have been cut.
  23. Well here are the pics from the engine going back in, also Went down to get the sorn removed today and couldn't as the sorn certificate has run out and i dont have the log book yet!!! i was a little pissed off to say the slightest. Anyway had some better news, my K1 blue silicone hoses had arrived so i went and collected them. Toyota wanted £91 for a set of standard ones these 10mm silicolne ones cost me £40 lol. Here are the pics of the engine back in the car and the leads in the rocker cover. Hope you like.
  24. When i was based over there from 2001-2003 i seen a lot of bad shit happen to people for trying to do things like you suggested, one of the worse was some lad who grassed on someone got took out to the fields nailed to a wooden fence and then set alight!. Ireland is a beautiful country, and i loved living there and 99.9% of the people are friendly but the other .1% you deffo dont want to fuck with.
