Well i got back from working in Keighley today and popped in to see Ian at Autosounds to collect my JL Evolution C5 component speakers for the front doors, have also ordered a O Gauge wiring kit which i will be collecting tomorrow. My alarm arrived at my uncles earlier in the week so i called in on the way home to get that, am going to start fitting it on saturday.I also managed to print of a template from the MKIVsupra.net forum to make up the bracket for my speakers.

Well it arrives into newcastle on monday so i might have it for the weekend, i will have a dodge up to see you once i have it. I am staying away from Turners mate as they don't give me any discounts whereas i am getting silly discounts from Monty at bassmechanix and Ian at autosounds so my money will be spent with them.

It certainly is mate, i have decided to go high end with the ice in this. In all of my other cars i have always left the speakers and that in but i will be keeping all this stuff for a very long time and it will move from car to car

Well i have just bought the first part to my ice install, it is an Audison VRX6 420 amp, i am not sure which speakers or sub to go with yet but they will either be top of the range JL ones or something similar.

Well my wideband and bov arrived last week but i was working away in Ireland so couldn't see them. Just got home tonight and took some pics can't wait to get them fitted.

How are you finding the EK9? i had one after i sold my GT but i couldn't get away with Vtec, handling was anreal though.

Yeah i know it is a tad high but it is a face lift version, i had the chance to buy a few cheaper ones over here but i wanted to be the first uk owner and i wanted peace of mind that it is coming from a good importer. I know what you mean about the tail stepping out lol my mate has a single which will be around 800-900bhp when it is fully mapped and it is an animal. Sparky the wideband was $268 shipped from america i think it is about £160.

Just ordered a couple of parts ready for when it gets here. Ordered a Sard R2D2 Bov from RHDJapan and an Innovite Wideband from Dusty at MVP.

It come up on the mkiv supra forum saying first £200, so i got in first, dont even think it has been used as most of the stuff is unopened.

Thanks a lot phil, just spoke to Jurgen today and it could possible be here the first week of august so fingers crossed.

Well i have finally got some pics of the car, there are a few scratches on it but Jurgen will be sorting them out before i pick the car up. Once i have some more money i will get the engine bay painted the same colour as the body work, i plan to paint the centre of the steering wheel black as i am not keen on the red and possibly taking the spoiler off.

That is not too bad then mate, i was very lucky coming back from the rising sun car show the other month in my old evo got pulled by the police when i was 5 minutes from my house, he had been trying to catch me for 5 minutes and only did when i slowed down for road works. He said i was lucky he had no recording equipment in his car as i would have lost my licence, got away with an asbo which means if i get caught doing anything stupid in the next 12 months i will get my car crushed. I have certainly learned my lesson as if i lose my licence i loose my job!

No i bought the GT from a garage, i imported the ek9 myself though and saved about 3k

It depends on what you go for really, i doubt i would be able to get this car for the price i have paid for it. The exchange rate is also a big factor as well. Cheers sparky i can't wait to get it either.

Well funny you should mention BPU, i have just bought a greddy profec e01 boost controller tonight from MKIV.net my mate is giving me his decats as he has gone single. It already has fmic so i only need a 1.1 bar restrictor ring and fuel pump

If it gets a place on the boat this friday it should take 4-6 weeks, if i mss it i don't know when the next one leaves.

That is on the road price with everything paid mot'd and taxed it is only the uk ones that have the bonnet vents and you are right it does have a fmic.
