Right here are some pics from today, While i had the front bumper off to refit the induction kit as i had fitted it wrong lol. The bar that goes across the front end looked so dirty so i decided to clean it. I got a bit carried away and ended up taking the lights and inner arches off ect to give it a good clean. I only managed the front and left hand side of the engine, you can see how bad it was from th pic of the right hand side lol.

I nearly got these before the rotas, but there was a long wait to order them ;) Go for it idrees be different

No mate the only white the type r's came in was championship white, mine needed a good tcutting when it come off the boat.

Well after about 2 hrs with the auto sol metal polish i finally got the metal pipe work up to a half decent standard. It was Very easy to fit once i figured out which way the pipes went. Took it for a quick spin and noticed a big difference with the way it picks up and there is a nice induction roar when the vtec kicks in ;) I know my engine is dirty i have not ben able to bring myself to face it yet lol. And i will be sorting out them 2 metal bars where there is a bit of rust. Hope you like

It is on the factory suspension mate, dont think i will even bother changing it as it is perfect as it is.

Looking good mate, on the front exit exhaust i am sure you have to have it coming out of the drivers side for it to be legal. Incase any pedestrians get caught by it, fuck knows how that would happen like he he.

Jesus slater you don't hang around with the powder coating mate lol i love the mk1 golfs so much, have nearly bought a couple of cabbys and a mars red 1.6 gti but the condition was not very good for the money they wanted. Should be amazing when you are finished judging by your glanza

Here are some pics of it after i cleaned it, i stripped the interior out today and gave everything a good scrub, the carpets are red again Have also removed the radio just waiting for my band expander to come then i can refit it. Also need to wire in my speedo converter and get a few more things then i can esva it and start driving it. Hope you all like it.

I ordered the car in march nath!!! the shipping in japan has been very slow, and not many ships have been coming to newcastle. If i were you mate i would get it delivered to southampton and get beamish transport to deliver it to your door for you. It only cost me £220 to get it to sunderland so it should be a bit cheaper as leeds is 100 miles less for them to go. Tucka, that carbon bonnet looks amazing on your friends car, that will be the only exterior mod i will do to the car if i do any, white car with cf bonnet = sex wee lol

I am keeping this, but i am goint to try and keep the gt as well if my funds will let me as i still love the gt so much.
