Yeah, not quite as effective, is your really hot put the A/C on for a lil' bit then switch over the econ to maintain the temperature

I wondered this when I got my car, and found out from another member. Is basically a half aircon type thing, runs the air con pump but not constantly like the A/C button would do, so cuts out when the car's cooled down inside, then comes on again as it starts to warn up again. (so yeah, therefore more economical aircon)
