its not a high pitch noise buddy, def more of a dry bearing noise. alternator belt has been tightened. thanks anyway.
-
i did think it was the tensioner on the cam belt, sounds like its coming from there! the bloke i bout it off fitted the cam belt kit himself before i bought it so its possible he over tightened it! is there anyway i can adjust it or is it a case of replacing the whole kit!

wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction with a really annoying noise coming from my engine! it appears when the engine is warm, its coming from one of the pulleys. it sounds like a dry bearing on one of the pulleys and when you rev the car it gets a little louder and faster? i have changed the alternator thinking it was that and its not that, i have been told its most likely the water pump....has anyone had a similar noise accur on there car and found the solution! really annoying me! any help is appreciated. thanks ;)

when i slighlty steer and hit a bump my car makes a slight clunk on the passenger side. would anyone have any ideas what it could be! i havnt had a chance to get under the car and have a look yet...id imagine it will be bushes! any help would be appreciated. thanks

my glanza has decided to creek when i pull away or drive slow (5-15mph). it is only coming from the passenger side tho. a friend of mine said that from the outside of the car it sounds like a clicking noise! i assume that would be the cv joint nackered, but would that clicking sound like a creeking from the inside of the car or could it be somthing else making the noise...trackrod end bushes perished, wishbone bushes etc. i replaced a cv joint not long ago and from the inside of the car it made a clicking noise as i steer so i dont know if it is another cv joint! any help would be really appr
