  1. Definitely over the top.. "I went on the EPC and noticed there were some little parts I didn't order from the dealers, so I got them ordered". Go and buy a fcuking Lambo mate!!
  2. I didn't even notice that, that is lame. I think hes stupid for buying a new shell because his other had some slight impact on it (or whatever he called it). More money than sense if you ask me tbh.
  3. Hey guys, I'm thinking about purchasing a front lower arm bar but I've heard mixed opinions on them, so just a couple of questions on them. 1) Did it improve the drive or handling of your Starlet? 2) Did it scrape the ground? How low is your car? 3) Would you recommend one to other Starlet owners? Thanks for any input, I hope this helps other people who have considered one. Idrees
  4. That is insane.
  5. I 'unapproved' it. You need to contact Enzo mate.
  6. Probably around 210-220atf on a decent map.

You tried some WD40 on it?
  8. Ouch, twats!
  9. There's a nice EG in the Classifieds (Pukka Performance in the title).
  10. I've got a spare that you can have for free Bill
  11. Binned it along with many other things from the bay! The car will be yellow mate.
  12. Cheers folks, hopefully not too long till I can get this on the road now. Another little update.. The cause of the oil leak was poor sealant. Infact, that was the cause as a whole, the sealant. Silly me used that instead of Instant gasket I whipped off the oil pump and the sump to give it all a thorough clean and fit it properly this time! Back in for some more surgery Oil pump refitted Sump removed, cleaned and resealed That was an excuse for her first oil change too. The oil didn't look too bad upon removal, minimal metal filings too. I thought there would have been more tbh. I'll have the sump off again after around 100 miles of driving. Oh I managed to find a spare minute to fit one headlight too the other one will be on once I've got a new adjusting bracket for it. Random picture from a couple of days back See the resemblance with my old Glanza rep?
  13. Congrats mate!
  14. They look ace if your getting new rubber for the Volkswagen I reckon you should get a higher profile so they fill the arches better?
  15. As above, they are a good bunch but I've heard of the same issue before.
  16. Sweet motor if you ask me!
  17. Still need to make another bracket but here's mine
  18. Phil us on the all. Matte lacquer. You'll probably get it as an additive to mix in to normal lacquer.
  19. Welcome along mate, I recognise the car
  20. Joz she is a stunner, absolutely awesome motor! Looks like Jay has done a top job once again
  21. Sad news RIP fella.
  22. Cheers guys, I can't wait myself. It's been too long in the making! I took her for a very small drive today, just around a small carpark mainly. Everything seems to be spot on apart from an oil leak from the oil pump area. I've whipped everything back off (crank pulley, timing belt and oil pump) so will give it a good clean tomorrow and refit it tomorrow. It looks like I used a poor sealant on the oil pump (Instant gasket from Halfords). When I touched it today it was very very soft, like chewing gum. I expected it to be a bit more firm than that - I understand that its not meant to dry hard but surely it shouldn't be that soft. Hopefully I'll get the engine back together tomorrow and continue with the progress. The Fujitsubo Power Getter is also fitted (temporary fitment with rope until I get brackets welded on the backbox). I must say it sounds rather nice.. Ps. I won't be getting a Civic radiator, I prefer the stock one. I may go for a dual core full size if I use it much on track next year.
  23. Those wheels look similar to the Rays in the link below. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Civic-Rays-Engineeri...T#ht_720wt_1137
  24. Okay so heres another update, probably my personal favourite so far.. The engine is now running and the wire tuck is almost complete. There's a few small bits and pieces to be done but it's not far off now I need to start looking for a spray booth to rent out now so that I can get the bodywork completed. Once the bodywork is done, the running in of the engine can begin A quick picture, excuse the red and purple hoses. They won't be there for long. Next is to complete the wire tuck (my mate has done most of the work on this and it seems he's done well so far) and get the FMIC piping routed up!
  25. Looks super mate, perfect if you ask me! And I must say, your car is amazingly clean!
