Yes they will fit, they will catch on your arches a little bit depending how low you are, but nothing major!

Yes, get under the car and see the length of the driveshafts. If they look roughly the same size, it's an optional Toyota LSD. If the drivers side is a good bit longer then it won't be, unless it's an aftermarket LSD fitted to the original gearbox.

Now then, I know it's all about moving on, but how did 2010 treat you? Anything interesting happen, or anything bad perhaps? For me, I don't think it could have been a better year. Right then, the engine has developed a knocking noise so I've dropped the price accordingly. If the car is still here by the end of the weekend it will be broken for spares, as my brother has offered to strip it for me.

If you swap over the thermo housing it will work, you could swap over the valve springs too. Some people wouldn't do it, but a local customer bought a cheap 4EFE head from me around 2 years ago. He fitted it to his GT and its still running strong. I've also added pictures to the first post.

Pistons are fine as it's not throwing any oil out of the breather, it's not losing oil and it doesn't smoke. You can either fix this head by sorting whatever the issue is, or just stick on a good condition second hand head (this is what I was going to do).

Tax and test is mentioned in the first post. Yes it will do the journey to Wales, it drove 180 miles to get back to mine without issues.

I also agree with Socks ;) New piston rings, new shells and the bores honed would only make sense mate. Atleast that way you know the whole engine is fresh
