My brothers car came with one of those in a pod pillar. It never really gets looked at, well not while I'm driving! Its pretty accurate though and apparently more accurate than the OEM ones.

Pads have not even done 1000 miles. I'll go back to get them bled tomorrow then.

They are so soft compared my brothers, and the only upgrades he has is 3G front discs and a rear disc conversion. The pedal definitely needs to be a bit more sharp.

Plasma Dials are the way forward. I really want some!

For stock brakes? Why would I?! I collected the car earlier but my brakes are still a little spongy. They are loads better (obviously) because there was no brake feel at all before, but they still feel a little slack

There are a lot of JDM styled cars on here but like others have said, rarely any pure JDMness. I like my JDM touches although I own a SR so it can never actually be a JDM car!

Nah, everyone else has it there so I thought I'd be a little different. (Okay I may be lying a little bit. My bonnet pin came in the way so this is the second best place I could fit it!) Just dropped the car off to have the brakes sorted. Rear shoes were gone and one of the cylinders were leaking too. So I got the new bits (£15 for shoes and £14.50 for the cylinder) and got some Dot 4 fluid at the same time. I might be lucky enough to finally have some proper brakes!

Recommended change is at 60k I believe. Mine has done 64k, and I can't be arsed changing it yet. I might just go Ste style and change it at 70k

Well I am gonna get my brakes checked when I get the exhaust fitted, so I'll hopefully text you on Thursday telling you what I need.

In my opinion, starting off with these mods makes a good transformation.. Clear lenses Reflet or Glanza rear lenses (either early or late spec) Lowering Rims Spoiler (sportif or TTE spoiler) And some sort of exhaust to finish off the subtle look But I guess it depends how extreme you want to go.

Is that all? How much do they usually cost? I'll give you a shout on the weekend if I need one mate.

How much was the wheel bearing then? I think I need a new rear one too.

Booked the exhaust to be fitted this week. And I will find parts on the cheap to repair the brakes.

My bro went to enquire about fitting today (as I laid in bed - Ill) £30 to get it fitted, but not at an angle. The pipe coming off the backbox is huge compared to piping on the car, so he said he will use a reducer and it'll have to be straight. No bends etc so won't be able to angle it. I think it'll sound sweet though. :cool: The brakes are an epic fail. Rear cylinders are leaking so I might aswell go for a rear disc conversion. I dunno what to do though? Pay for the exhaust and get it fitted and repair the brakes on the cheap, or go for the brake upgrade and return the exhaust to
